Yeah, Ryan Pace seems really excited about his 3-10 football team.

At the very minimum, his draft class this year is enough to warrant not having these rumors floating around. The team got absolutely wrecked with injuries, and they have an abysmal head coach and OC in charge on game days.

Relevant Chicago Bears on IR:

Jay Cutler - forget play on the field, he now is a document injury risk. He's missed 5 or more games now dating back to 2011. That's on Pace for decided to stick with Cutler two years ago.

Kyle Fuller - He was 'meh' when healthy

Hroniss Grasu - See Kyle Fuller

Lamarr Houston - See Grasu

Kyle Long - Ok, I'll give Pace this one. Weird/Random injuries to solid player

Zach Miller - Yeah, this is on Pace. You know Miller's injuries when you shipped off Bennett and made Miller your primary TE.

Danny Trevathan - I'll give Pace this one too..Trevathan was healthy before this year.

Kevin White - See Kyle Fuller and Grasu, I have't seen much of a difference between White and Merideth.

So add in Long and Trevathan, what does this team have? 1 or 2 more wins?

Leonard Floyd missed time and Pernell McPhee missed significant time. You can also add in the Freeman and Alshon suspensions for players who missed significant time.

Pace's biggest mistake was keeping Cutler. I'm not sure if had a say in the Fox hire but if he did that was a mistake too, and one he needs to rectify this offseason. As I said, his draft class this year earns him the right to be in charge for at least the next couple years and not have to answer to some outsider like Polian

Yeah pretty much. Cutler's replacment should have been drafted in 2015. So maybe? It looks like this defense is going to be legit again in 2017, but now you are trying to usher in a young QB in the process, with an impatient Fox that will be even more impatient because at least one side of the ball is fixed. Everything is out of whack because of this.

The only positions on the that didn't suffer major injuries are LT, 5T and SS. That is it, every other position suffered injuries in one way or another, and most of those injuries were season ending.

Three wins is a bit of minor miracle, I've never seen a team get hit that hard.

I don't think Pace wanted Fox, his two biggest mistakes were Cutler and Fox..you take away those two dopes and make Gase the head coach and this teams looks demonstrably better.
