I've shifted my opinion to Peppers. I'm confident we can get a competent QB with the early 2nd round pick.

A lot is going to happen in the next 4-5 months of draft evaluation. A couple of these QB prospects will be back in the top 5-10 before it's all over.

I'm happy with Peppers or a QB.

Nope, I mean the safety from LSU. Some mock drafts have him going earlier. He's a lot of fun to watch. Reminds me of watching Tyrann Mathieu here on Sundays.

Jabrill Peppers isn't top 3 worthy, but I still want him, so I hope someone around 6 or 7 gets itchy and trades/swaps with Bears for their first rounder plus another 2nd or 3rd. Tenn, Philly and Cleveland have 2 first round picks so I'd talk with them.

Much like the previous 4 or 5 years, the Bears have more holes than picks. And given the success of Whitehair and the mediocre play of Kwiatkoski, Pace will probably be trading down at some point.

Bills could be an attractive trade down partner if they get antsy for a QB.

Does anyone think the Bears could really get 2017 1st and 2nd + a 2018 first for (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky or Kizer though?

A guy who played guard in college but will be moved to center.

Even as dire as our QB situation is, I just don't see any of those guys being worth the #3 pick.

As much as it pains me to say it because I've been trumpeting the bears should take a QB with their 1st pick, I agree it would probably be a reach to take any of these guys. Kizer is the only one I would consider.

I'd prefer Peppers at this point.

You have to overdraft for a qb. We can't wait for the number 1 pick and Andrew Luck. That happens once a decade.

Virtually every team we strive to be has one position player that is great to hall of fame great. When you have the third pick in the draft you don't pass on a qb when you desperately need one.

I can't believe we have to watch Green Bay have two hall of fame quarterbacks and people want the guy who is a national name because he is a great kick returner.

100% you have to take a QB, unless these guys have like a low 2nd rd 3rd rd grade on them. This will be a defining draft for Pace. An NFL team does not go to the SB without a QB.
