Tip off at The UC in a few minutes.

DWade out with a swollen knee and Rondo probably not playing due to bruised ego...

At least Jimmy Butler is a Top 10 NBA player and makes this somewhat watchable.

Glad you think so. Makes it a lot less the case as a result.

Might not be the best night for a Butler rant but i'll die for my country on this one.

Jimmy Butler might be a Top 5 NBA player.

If you're starting a franchise no one is taking Butler in the top 5 picks.

Between him Mirotic and Portis you have some of the worst defensive instincts that I've ever seen in professional basketball players. Neither of those 3 will ever be good defensively but at least Mirotic got a blocked shot tonight.
That was for the McDermott comment

That was supposed to be a response to the McDermott comment.

I agree with you then, on those 3 players. Very bad.

Nope.

Ten guys currently better than Butler

1. Russell Westbrook
2. James Harden
3. Kevin Durant
4. LeBron James
5. Greek Freak
6. Kawhi Leonard
7. Kyrie Irving
8. Anthony Davis
9. Demarcus Cousins.
10. Paul George.

Cousins and Davis are suspect for the very same reasons you present for Butler. Their teams aren't good with them as their best player, which by your logic proves they can't be the best player on a good team but instead mere stat padders on bad teams. Same goes for Irving, the teams where he was the best player sucked before James arrived.

It isn't the same thing. Butler has been surrounded by better guys than either of the guys you named.

Can you name Irvings starting five with Cleveland without google? I can

Who is their Dwayne Wade?

What about last year. Which player was as good as Rose or Gasol?

If Jimmy Butler is going to be in the top 10 discussion then he can't get thoroughly dominated by Kawhi Leonard each and every time they matchup and outplayed by the Greek Freak each time.

Kyrie Irving dominated the league MVP on the biggest stage imaginable and changed the way Curry is perceived going forward.

Davis led a team without a lot of talent to the playoffs and routinely out plays elite guys.

Cousins has never played with stellar talent.

Paul George was the latest in a list of guys who thoroughly get the best of Butier and the more you watch him the more apparent it becomes that he is simply a bum slayer. I like Batum but he is nowhere an elite guy. More of a rich man's Trevor Ariza.

I don't know what that has to do with anything. Do you have Butler as a top ten player?

You'd be wrong.

Cleveland had 2 guys better.

Milwaukee has 2

Washington has 1

Indiana has 1.

Toronto has 1.

Best case scenario it's a wash with Derozan and George.

Everyone else I roll with right now.

By next year I will be adding Embiid barring injury. Small sample size but it is a no doubter. Porzingus too.

LTG is high.

Butler definitely did something to piss LTG off.
