I like Murph. The only time I have disliked his shows was when he did mornings.

I like Murph as well. If you don't like him, don't listen. He goes a little overboard sometimes, being a little weird or dragging a topic, I think the 2 hour limits helps that a little. The hatred for him lame though, sounds like more people hating Murph because Danny Mac makes fun of them rather than actually listening.

I think most people have taken your advice and DON'T listen to this lame, phony show.

This is the only show I can take on this station right now. Johnny B till 10, Jack till noon, Murph till 2, Jack till 3, MJH till 7. Murph is great. If hes a tool to work with thats not my problem. All I know is he has the most baseball knowledge of anyone on the radio in Chicago.

Murph has no talent, and should have been gone long ago. College radio host have more ability. Before the score management lets their host criticize Chicago sports teams and their managenet they should look in the mirror and get rid of some of the crap that goes on the air on 670. Murph and North are at the top of my list. Two hours of Murphy is 159.5 minutes too much.

I see we have a mathematician on board. Oh well, I do agree with the post though.

Well, actually, if that's how many minutes Murph tries to cram into his 120 minute bag, then the post is accurate.

Is this the weekly "who listens to/Murph is a POS" thread?

Much like a Marco Polo game: I say "Marco", and Tool says "POS" in reply....

Even being a Sox fan, he is the only one who watches the Sox games besides Fred.

i hate everything about murph.

But the reason he shouldn't be on the air, is because he has the voice of Dr. Demento! Good God....it's unbearable!

Don't forget "Swami Murph" and "Sports Spurts"...

Those are some bad bits...brutal really. His intro and sound effects...or drops or whatever they're called need to be updated...they sound ancient.

Time for his "what if" bell.

I PREDICT Murph's a Tool will be celebrating the demise of, to borrow from MaT, the POS within the coming six months (and what a LONG six months it will be).

Didn't you predict in the past that he would not make it past the end of the year?

Murph's show is the only real sports talk show left on the score. That's why I only listen to his show on the station. The other shows are just awful to listen to.
