Best case scenario it's a wash with Derozan and George.

Everyone else I roll with right now.

By next year I will be adding Embiid barring injury. Small sample size but it is a no doubter. Porzingus too.

I was with you up until you mentioned Embiid or Porzingus.

Embiid is the truth. Porzingus may be a bit of a push but he is for real too. By end of next season those two will be no doubters

Nope. Dreaded eye test is back to wreak havoc. I try to never be a homer and I see some Jalen Rose in Jimmy Butler. Don't like that look at all.

I don't know what that has to do with anything. Do you have Butler as a top ten player?

Yes I do.......and Top 3 in the conference

I assume Antetokounmpo (close but not there) and Jabari Parker (lol) are the two he is suggesting.

I like to be on the cutting edge when it comes to NBA buckets. Not even a discussion with the Greek freak. Better now and going forward. Parker debatable but I'm confident by the end of this season no doubt. He probably won't be an All Star because you have to give them a year before they put you in. Next year yep he will be there.

IMU how can you ever say it's too early after placing Butler in the Hall of Fame after one good season?

1st of all no one makes any HOF for one year.....cutting edge with Parker

Because unlike you, I'm usually right and therefore can remain confident in my predictions.

Predictions I've gotten right: 3,482
Predictions I've gotten wrong: Brett Jackson

You forget that you once had an over the top infatuation with one Lance Stephenson a few years back. How'd that work out for you?

Lance Stephenson was, before he was injured, playing 27 effective minutes per game. He will be back in a few weeks.
Josh Smith is not in the NBA.

Working out just fine. Lance Stephenson would be the third best guard on the 2016-17 Bulls.

You probably don't know which team he is on (Douchebag does) Lance Stephenson was thought to be a front line guy. He was considered a must have guy. He is on his 4th team since that prediction was made a few yrs ago. Lance Stephenson would kill to have Josh Smith's career. So would Taj Gibson for that matter. Josh will come back to the league on his own terms.

Lance is merely a journeyman at this point. He probably will be out of the league after this season.

Lance Stephenson is a Pelican. (ugh) I'd still take him on a well coached NBA team. Your one requirement you use to determine good players versus bad players is PPG. This must is obvious. You don't even factor "Per 36" when looking at scoring, or FG%.

You especially do not factor in traits that put Jimmy Butler into upper echelon status and Lance Stephenson into 'good NBA player' status like rebounding, passing and defense.

Honestly, I'm surprised you have Lebron James in your Top 10.

You must have forgot that Lance Stephenson holds the record the lowest 3 point shooting % in league history for one season. The Hornets soured on him one month after they acquired him. So did the Clippers. So did Memphis who also stopped playing him later in the season. He got hurt to early to track his Pelican season but he was battling with the immortal Etwaun Moore for minutes.

Doesn't sound like a good player to me. Sounds like a journeyman, which he happens to be.

Better a journeyman than a failure, I guess?

Taj Gibson 1
Lance Stephenson 1
Josh Smith 0

Josh Smith had a 12 yr NBA career and for the vast majority of it was an NBA starter. He also was the best or second best player on his team for the majority of his career. He also led his team to playoffs multiple years and was a true difference maker. Can't ever really ever say that about the other two guys. Role players at best.

They fall under the "confusing activity with accomplishment" category.

.@DavidHaugh says Jimmy Butler is on the verge of becoming a Top-5 player. @thekapman disagrees.
