and on the radio as well

Man isn't meant to be retired and playing golf all day in his fifties.

It was good to hear him again.
I very much enjoyed it.
Mac I haven't been able to insult you in quite some time. This is disturbing to me.

Depends on how long you wanna live. I am sure cocaine and golf and fishing are working for him.

Forget that. It is sad to waste a gift.

He wasted the gift from 2007 til about 2014. I'd love to hear it again but only if he was into it.

Too type-y.

Well I wish it didn't include being bored, angry, or tired for so long. He also should not have made us suffer with the whining vagina.

The nostalgia for Mac is just as misguided as the canonization of Boers. Neither has been consistently entertaining for a decade or more. If/when Mac returns to the Score he'll deliver a good show for as long as he's engaged, probably about two or three months at most.

I loved hearing him today but fear that would be short lived.

One of my favorite parts of the Mac and Spiegs era was reading the weekly posts here about how it was Spiegs, the producers, and everyone else's fault that Mac seemed unmotivated and that they just needed to come up with better ideas for the show and suddenly HFC/Afternoon Saloon Mac would reemerge.

I don't understand how Mac hasn't done an outdoors show. Hell, even a syndicated fishing radio/podcast

Because no one cares and he's not an expert just a hobbyist?

The first and only remote I went to was for Mac's show. I only showed up because it was in the south suburbs and I expected you people to be there. He was nice and the only person who showed up was WR.

I've never been a Mac fan. I only occasionally listened because of this board. Loved his energy but didn't think he offered much. North and Bernstein were so much better to me.

My first remote was a mac remote.
Mac didn't show though so we had the less than affable Carmen sitting in.
Grid talked some weird googly eyed drunk bastard into trying to take off Harry's toupee.
As far as I know Harry doesn't wear a toupee. So that was fun.
And jurko ate the tab. Good guy. Buys drinks.
At another Mac remote my wife said something completely inappropriate to Mac in front of his wife and Kerry sayers. It was pretty hilarious.

I disagree but that's two or three months more than I am currently getting.

I don't get a chance to listen to middays very often so I did not experience his difficulties day to day. When I did listen, I was entertained.

Grid loved to fuck with Harry. I believe he had his kid pants Harry in public while he was making a speech while wearing loose fitting shorts.
