Actually, is really takes a little bit. Even when they brought Mac back with Spiegs they ran practice shows with producer and all involved. They have to work out all the new things they want to do and how they do them. Get the flow right etc. They do not launch a new drive time show by opening the mics and say go. They could probably only get away with that if they kept Bernsie, Drinky and Tannehill in place with minimal changes.

Hello All. I'm out of the loop on Chicago media now due to relocating to TX a year ago, but I was able to listen to the slobberfest online yesterday. Has there been any discussion about Terry possibly spilling the beans about a Mac return during their segment together? It happened when Terry was talking about visiting Dan on the golf course after Mac left DRV. Mac said something about not being an "unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2016" to which Terry replied something to the effect of "but you're coming back now." Dan quickly cut the dialogue and changed the subject. Anyone else hear it? Being as out of the loop as I am down here he could have been referring to something else that I am not aware of regarding a Danny Mac comeback.

I got the sense that Mac is done with radio. Terry essentially pleads with him at one point to come back and Mac demurs.

They would never put Mac back with Spiegs. I took that comment as Terry meant that Mac is coming back later in the show, when they brought the whole gang back together for a segment.

I didn't hear it as Boers referring to him coming back for another segment. It was said in the context of Terry urging Mac to do more with the rest of his life than play golf.

So as a listener I'm supposed to just tune into ???? from 1 to 6 every weekday? They knew Terry was leaving for almost a year and they couldn't line anything up, or do they just have such contempt for their listeners that they dont even want to tell us what shows we'll be listening to on their station?
