The day after the biggest weekend of NFL games and Cubs dorkfest? Fantastic planning.

It's almost certainly a corporate holiday.

They're having planning meetings for the new shows. This makes sense.

Berstein being paired with someone who has opinions is going to be weird.

No it doesn't. Hence my criticism of their poor planning.

Bernstein boasts that he never plans for his show. B&G's new executive producer is Nick Shepkowski...who is on air right now in the midday slot.

Parkins was hired last week? What is there to plan that couldn't have been done last week? Today talk about the NFL games. Parkins should have extensive knowledge of the Chiefs.

Mitch continues to show he has zero leadership.

I don't listen. I assumed last week would have had similar meetings.

I had no idea who Shepkowski was.

I don't blame the hosts for not showing up. They have a contract and poor performance does not have consequences under Mitch's leadership.

Mitch's poor performance has no repercussions, the guy is a fucking meathead, he hires nothing but turds.

What would some of you do without the Score radio station? It's not that serious.

lol dude, "weird" is scrolling down a C/S/FMB thread and seeing that avatar and thinking "HOLY SHIT BIGGIE'S BACK?!?!" but then realizing "oh, it's just veganfan21" --- i swear to god, i've done this no less than like 10-15 times, aka every time i see one of your posts, because no matter how many times i try to tell myself that i know vf21 is rocking the legendarily-off-limits bagman avatar, dude, i can't help but associate that avatar with a bigfan post.

anyways, bernstein and goof (fun typo =)... uhhh....unless you technically wanna argue that someone told goff DaMaNeel was done at the score in the near future and he purposely went and got himself fired in ATL to be available for the DaMaNeel chair... AND there were mgmt conversations like "man, goff would be perfect to replace mcneil but he's doing his thing down there in atlanta" so goff knew he was getting fired to get himself a much much better job--- then i'm thinking bernstein set up "uncle jason" to be in the $100/+ birthday/christmas card range with his kids til the end of time via dropping a little "hey mitch" game. sheeeit i don't think you even need beardown to tell you that this is a very very possible thing that went down to ensure that goff essentially failed upwards in terms of his radio hosting career (even despite any and all veritable "homefield advantage" given his tenure accrued during his first run at the score)

also call it a hunch that while DaMaNeel in/famously "won't roll out of bed for less than 300k" that goff would probably invite you into his bed (*wuh-psssh*) for something less than 300k, so you know that didnt hurt things in the big/ger picture. but until someone proves otherwise, i'm going to assume that #TheReturn is a Dan Bernstein gig.... especially now that we find out that Goff evidently was a (if not THE) top choice to partner with Dan after Terry retired? I wouldn't put it past Dan to use his influence to get Goff back [in good graces?] with CBS/The-Score fully knowing that someday when Terry steps down from the GOAT contract in chiago sports talk radio history Dan would like to not only have one of "his guys" take over he Terry Chair, but he'd also wanna have someone younger/hipper/more-demographical than himself to effectively make the show younger-n-fresher and more broadly appealing in much the same way that Dan did for Terry when he was the young guy who took the DaMaNeel chair back circa 98 or whatever.

either way, TLDR = Goff might have some "token" disagreements/arguments with Dan, but given Dan's almost-inevitable "radio godfather" status with/for Jason, yeah, I would be really fucking surprised if Goff says anything opinion-wise that seriously rocks the boat and/or provides any sort of "turbulence" en route to what's essentially gonna be "The Dan Bernstein Show (feat the little homey J-Goff)

(and hey, i can't help but wonder if Jason's parents were cognizant of the fact that they'd really be doing their kid some kind of a disservice by giving him a middle name that started with the letter "A", right Adande? =)
