Nope,he is not an American citizen. A soldier takes an oath to defend the country and constitution.

Just think Obama has 3 days to go and he has already pardoned/commuted more people than any other president in history. Blago anyone?

Blago hurt dems so...No.

AceHQ:
President Obama, Who's Totally Horrified By Leaks That Hurt National Security, Commutes Bradley Manning's Sentence Down to Time Served, Plus Five More Months
—Ace

He was sentenced to remain in jail until 2045 for leaking huge amounts of classified information about the US military, as well as State Department cables.

Now he'll be in jail until... mid-May.

As many people have observed: Leaks that hurt US national security are meh at worse, but leaks that hurt Democratic political ambitions? Unforgivable.

You passed that test ... well done.

Might want to let your pal Ike know that Assange can't face a death penalty for what he did.

I strenuously object.

His exposure of the NSA is fine, almost certainly to be lauded. If he'd have stopped there, then he'd be in much better shape.

Instead, the dope then vomited the methods and means of how the US as a whole gathers intel ... nobody needs to know that - not you, me, or any other country ... no US citizen gained anything from that.

Someone exposing written documentation and a/v of just how badly KFC treats it's workers or chickens is great. Going on then to release their trade and marketing secrets is just being a petty, punitive Caller Bob, not to mention likely an attention whore.

Anyway, then he says "hey, America spies on her allies and I gots ta tell somebody 'bout it!" ... well no shit, sister ... is there anyone with an IQ over 90 that didn't think/'know' that, or any other country that didn't think/'know' that, or any other country that didn't do it too? That wasn't to inform anyone about anything, he did it to stroke himself under the poorly-fashioned guise of ... I don't know what, "personal duty"?

I hope at the very least this means by summer we won't be seeing that grainy Herman-Munster-In-A-Wig photo of him/her/it.
