Since Triple Threat Sports is a sponsor of ESPN 1000, and since some people here listen to the station, did anyone order any jerseys from there for Christmas?

The cutoff date to guarantee the item for Christmas was Dec. 5th. I ordered my jersey for someone on the 7th, knowing it probably wouldn't be ready. When I called on the 23rd to check the status of my jersey, they said it wasn't ready. Ok, fair enough, I knew that probably would happen. But they also said that those who ordered prior to the 5th may not even get their jerseys done in time either.

I can understand mine not being done, but for those who did order by their guaranteed deadline, what a freakin' ripoff. Did that happen to anyone here?

My girlfriend ordered a sox jersey for me as a birthday present, Dec. 9. Placed the order the Friday after Thanksgiving, and got the jersey on Dec.6 (Tuesday). All good with me. I love the jersey an Tripple Threat was great.

Really, then I will break it down for you.

1) Ordered a Sox jersey on Dec 9.
2) Placed the order the Friday after Thanksgiving (Nov 25)
----So now we have two order dates----(part of the not making sense)
3) Got the jersey on Dec 6.
----Makes sense if the jersey was ordered on the 25th, but not if it was on 12/9.

EG Greg, I could be wrong, but I think he meant that his birthday was Dec. 9, not that he ordered it on that date. That's the only way it makes any sense to me.

I was simply giving dates to reference. Order was Nov. 25 (Friday after Thanksgiving), recieved from Triple Threat Dec. 5, I got it as a gift Dec. 9. And your right, my b-day date makes no difference.

Chris "LJH" Hubble from Triple Threat Sports here. First off, LOVE this board. It clearly shows why most listeners would do a better job programming a sports talker than the PDs do.

Just an FYI, all, and I do mean ALL customers who ordered on our before our 12/5 deadline got their merchandise before 12/25 as promised. In fact, we were able to accomodate a few folks who purchased after 12/5.
