Inexplicably signing a has-been, one-dimensional, aging malcontent to a team in need of exactly the opposite is itself a horrible decision. But to then publicly devalue any value this player has, then try and publicly trade him when his value is as low as it's ever been (through your own actions), is so incompetent a move that such a person should be immediately dismissed from his position and escorted out of the building shortly thereafter. But in Reinsdorf world, Gar will probably be adopted and given a nice share of the inheritance.
