The current US embassy is on a fairly large piece of land right on the beach in central Tel Aviv. it may be the most valuable piece of real estate in Israel, where property prices make Silicon Valley look cheap.

I lived there for 3 years, a 900 square foot apartment in a 40 year old building runs 1.5 million in a bad neighborhood.
