As I have said in other posts, the holiday season is filled with C teamers on during regular hours. I really don't want to hear Holmes doing regular shows. As for Canellis, I lump him in the same category with guys like Harry, Bill Leff etc. They would much rather be doing a different job but use radio as a way to pay the bills. They are the waiters of the radio industry.
Lou will make an excellent steakhouse waiter. Imagine him coming by the table with a display tray of all diferent cuts and phoney pontificating voice. "Sir, my favorite cut is our house aged tenderloin."
He's also a short fellow which is always helpful for maintaining eye contact with customers sitting at the table.
