A low point for the fake news. McCarthy was good (and I usually don't think so.)

During the times on the show when she was being herself, Kristen Stewart reminded of Leather Tuscadero -- kind of awkward and butchy.

Was hyperventilating when McCarthy came out as Sean Spicer. Jesus that was funny.

yea i never thought mcarthy was talented until last night. holy shit that was the funniest bit i have seen in a long time. that was pure fucking brilliant, and she nailed the performance without a single break in character. i think even some of the cast felt a little scared

she will definitely be back for that... snl's portrayal of this administration is starting to get the show back on the map. i know this is the most ive watch snl in like 10 years. its too back the weekend update is weak as shit and the gameshow bits should be way funnier than they are.

I didn't find it funny either. I'm not sure there's parody to be had when people are so ridiculous in their own right. Krauthammer saying that every time Spicer comes out it looks like he's making a hostage video was way funnier than McCarthy's impression.

Well, I haven't watched a ton of his press conferences since they're during the day... I've usually only read them... but does he scream at the reporters? Because that's basically all McCarthy did.

I wouldn't say he screams. He seems nervous. It often really is like he's reading prepared notes as a hostage.

McCarthy is not funny. Your arguement is immediately invalid if you think otherwise.

He's overly contentious and the wordplay on Ban, the apology demands, and media scolding is all real life stuff.

I could see the "reality is funnier" thing but i did like it

The Grim Reaper as Bannon was funny like once, I'd like to see them fill it with actual person, I'm thinking Jack Black would be great.

Rumor has it they're looking to get Rosie O'Donnel to come on to play him. I find it to be a somewhat amusing idea.

I saw a whole roster of women they could get to fill the roles.

Including Ellen DeGeneres as Pence, which I think would also be hilarious.

There's zero reason to send up or portray the kid in any way or capacity.

Dipshits do that kind of thing. Hopefully the writer's room isn't replete with them.

Alec Baldwin is hosting tonight.

Should be a good show.

They should do nothing but Trump/Trump's team skits. That would be awesome.

If not today, make that a prime time special during the week "SNL does Trump's white house".
