Anyone watching?

I thought I would hate it before I started watching it, but I find it oddly watchable. The uniforms need to get scrapped though. A few laughable geography stretches pop up now and then. The last one was 13th district officers working 7900 block of S Ashland.

Haven't seen it, but it at least it's geographically plausible. Nothing worse than someone saying 3500 S. Stony or 5600 N. Halsted.

I've watched the first two episodes. Camera work is good. Acting not so much. Probably gonna get shit canned.

I've seen all the episodes and it's actually not bad... pretty watchable but not great. However, I doubt it gets a second season.

Definitely better than the previous Fox attempt at Chicago Police... "The Chicago Code".

Now that was turrible.

you know, i'm intrinsically "leery" about any tv show that portrays chicago [future/ish or otherwise] as some crime-ridden hellhole that needs a benevolent billionaire to come in and load em up with high tech gizmos and gadgets [that essentially shit all over the concept of privacy] to "keep us safe [from ourselves]" --- cuz you know, while "shit happens" in just about any metropolis anywhere, if you never go south of pilsen you're pretty much not going to have to deal with chiraq [and yes, i'm including the austin neighborhood where i've spent a "good" amount of time over the years (and i didnt even have to date a girl from oak park! >=) -- even i don't fuck with the southside!]

hell, the only time i "fucked with the southside" was only because some swim team girl [seriously, the body on her.... yeehaw!] had gone to UIC for a semester/year and came back to the library bumming cigarettes off of me; then she was starting off conversations where she was like "i got a guy" so once i was like "oh yeah? let's see about that" [pretty much as an excuse to hang out with her and then hopefully be like "pfft i got you on this" when she was proven to be talking shit]. when we went to meet "her guy" i was like "huh?" when she kept on driving down the dan ryan all the way to 95th... she got off and went down the street and "her guy" wasn't specifically "her guy" as much as it was "a place she knew about" and one thing led to another and b4 i knew it i was in the backseat of a "hot hatch" getting tossed all around as this crazy "swim team girl gone wrong" was [successfully!] ditching a couple'a blue-n-whites through a few residential sub-divisions! i have no idea how ol girl developed these janky-ass driving skills, but all praise and glory to her for doing what needed to be done [even tho it was her own dumbass fault for getting us into that situation].

when i was on the highway legit-skypointing and thank-you-jesus-ing and all that, i vowed never to fuck with any of that shit again.... be it the southside or swim team girls gone wrong! =P
