Honestly, Cowboys are being nice by cutting him. He's a cap hit anyway and an ideal backup. Dak could get hurt or go through a sophomore slump. Dak could also be a one year wonder like Kap or Nick Foles.

lol @ wanting Romo. The Bears need a ground up rebuild. Would be pointless to grab him. They need to grab a QB with one of their top picks and go from there.

Hoyer, Barkley is a bridge at a cheaper price, the Bears aren't going anywhere this year anyhow.
