Other than the "Trump White House" skits, it sucks.

I'm amazed that nobody can come up with good stuff. They have writers and actors that think about stuff all the time. Yet the non white house skits are 90% weird, stupid and not funny.

And the Trump white house stuff writes it self. So I won't even give them credit for that. That's easy.

Yeah. That was good. Like I said, 10% is good.

I don't expect them to hit on everything. But it should be at least 50%.

This host tonight was awful. I know she's an actress, but she was stiff and nervous in her skits. Maybe she's just not good at comedy. Her timing and delivery was awful.

I said it before, SNL should to one show totally dedicated to Trump and his staff. Every skit. There are more than enough characters to do it. You've got so many dumb asses in this White House.

kates cold open of sessions as gump was awesome, but it felt like a golden missed opportunity for a tom hanks cameo. that would have been amazing.

Funny thing is that the old 70's shows were probably 25-33% weird, stupid and not funny. If not more.

Despite my appreciation for their political stuff, the rest is so bad imo, that it still rarely dawns on me to actually watch it.

i know what you mean. i wish this show would invest more money in the writers. i get that it will always be a place to breed new young actors, but at least give them a chance to be funny. and if you cant give them funny skits, let them freestyle a little...

It's not like they have anything to do all week but think of funny stuff. And they fail on so many skits. The actors are allowed to come up with stuff. Maybe give the writers the premise and have them do the writing.

I could come up with better stuff than they do. At least a higher percentage of good.

They need to do more stuff where they make fun of celebrities. People like that.

That white girl (I forget her name) was the best at the impersonations in that skit. They should use her more. Have her dress up like those celebrities and do the impressions.

He has an apartment right down the street from the SNL studio. Maybe he couldn't do it this week.

But I doubt he'll be playing Trump for all 4 years. They have to find a regular cast member to do it. Maybe Baldwin will do it for the rest of this season and then they get a new guy next year.

Yeah, she does very good impressions. She was on America's Got Talent. Her normal voice is odd, but her impressions are great. I'd like to see her get more time, too.

Why don't they just have Donald Trump do it himself? He'd love the attention, and they're clearly not averse to having him on their show. #resist!

Ya, she is kinda awkward. Like Raj ex-girlfriend on BBT. The one with Social Anxiety.

Another series of unfunny Trump skits.

Lorde is a worse dancer than Elaine Benes.

This is the second show in a row where Cecily Strong wore a "message" t-shirt at the end of the show. I can't remember what the one she had on last week said, but the one she had on last night said "Trans Rights Are Human Rights." Does SNL have a large trans-hating demographic she's trying to reach?

I wonder how Cecily would feel when a very large man dressed like a woman suddenly walked into her powder room. I'll bet it wouldn't be "Hey,that's cool".

Mostly sucked, but I thought the dog skit was kinda funny. It really is interesting that New Yorkers act appalled when someone says they support Trump. I mean, half the people who voted voted for him.

At 9:00 last night they showed an episode from 1999 hosted by Bill Paxton. I watched it this morning. There were a few funny skits, but what really struck me was that I had forgotten exactly how terrible Colin Quinn was on Weekend Update.

In his defense, he was sort of forced into it, and got out of it pretty quickly.

Show has been a lot better since Chappelle did one. It's like he showed them how it's done and they actually took some hints.

Christ...so I guess they must be sucking Lorne's cock enough to his satisfaction that they aren't going anywhere...what a fucking disaster.

Haven't really been watching SNL much since the start of the season; see no real reason to change that habit.

At 9:00 they are showing an episode from 1992 hosted by Jerry Seinfeld. Should be funnier than anything from the last four months.
