Today is already been a rough morning for me. Actually, it has been building in me for a while now. Today marks the first year anniversary of the death of my precious, oldest daughter.

It has been a terrible time mostly for me. It is a roller coaster of every emotion you can imagine. Within any given day there can be everything from anger and profound sadness to happiness and laughter. They say this gets better with time but to this point I do not believe that. It gets different but no better.

Anyway, the reason for the shoutout is I am not certain how I could handle this without this board. It has been a distraction, therapeutic and time filler for me and I appreciate it. MANY here have been supportive and friendly to me and for that today I am grateful. Thank you.

I read a very good book recently. By a Holocaust survivor and psychiatrist Viktor Frankl - Man's Search for Meaning. Pretty easy read. Gives some insight as to how some withstand such horrible events, while others don't.

Keep up the hard work of supporting your family - that will assuredly pay off in the long run.

We have friends that lost a son in a car accident. I will never try to even imagine the personal hell it is for a parent in that regard. I hope you continue to find peace in your day to day journey.
