We lost my mother in law on March 17th, and my sister in law on April 1st. The first visit to the cemetery to see my SIL was pretty rough. Hang in there, Mike.

Distractions that capture your attention help. Whether it's playing a sport or participating on a board like this one. Your mind is on something else. Yes, time does help. But on dates like Christmas, Birthdays, the date of passing, etc. it is natural to think of the person who was lost. Having lost a sister and brother, I have perhaps a bit better understanding of this. But I have not lost a child of my own and I have to believe that would be the most difficult loss one can experience. I wish you the best in dealing with this loss and trust you have many great memories of your daughter that you hold dear and are thankful for.
