Massive blocking TE with some patch catching ability. He would be a good pairing with Evan Engram as a draft pick

IIRC wheaton is one of those steelers guys who you figured "hey, antonio brown is on the other side drawing double teams so theoretically this kid has some physical tools and could thrive with big ben slinging it to not-antonio-brown every now and then offset by a traditionally-[BUCKS STYLE]SOLID running game...

but then you start mixing up markus wheaton with eli rogers and martavius bryant and it's like huh? i thought darrius herward-bey was supposed to be "that dude" this year!

2014: 53rec/644yds/2TD
2015: 44rec/749yds/5TD
2016: 3 games 4 rec 51yds 1TD

and he played all 16 games in 2014/15, and IIRC 2015 was a goofy year where big ben was ded for a lot of the year so that 44/749/5 [good for a 17.0ypc!] was accrued with rapelisberger/vick/who-is-landry-jones? so that means that he's at least used to getting balls from washed-up or otherwise shitty QBs who have no business starting in the NFL, which means that when you couple that with his injury-ravaged 2016 i'm seeing some bonafide #BearsDNA here.

MY BOLD PREDICTION: he has 3-6 games where he looks like he might be a cromulent NFL WR and then breaks his foot or something, ultimately finishing with something like 19 rec 275yds and 2-3TD before finishing the season on IR [you know, so kevin white doesn't get too lonely. it's a long season on the sidelines, you know? =]
