Not back!

But yeah, this is pretty shady from Jenkins. Did he think it was funny, or that he would be able to get away with it?

Sally Jenkins

Tiger Woods needs to tuck his bottom lip back in.

Is that extraordinarily racist or am I taking that completely wrong?

It's definitely racist. You should lynch him in a back alley.

Am I missing something here? Get away with what? Writing a satirical article?

Fuck Tiger Woods.

Golf Digest typically does not have satirical stories run in it.

I think it's obvious that this was written satirically.

Doesn't matter. This is one of those "It's obviously satire, it's on you for being a dumbass if you took it seriously" situations, IMO.

Unlike my guy Steiney to piss anyone off.

Then they probably shouldn't have hired Dan Jenkins.

Just like "It's comedy" isn't a catch all excuse, "It's satire" isn't either. The target does have a right to take offense if it misses as badly as that one did.

Tiger golfs with three year old with one arm. This video only has 1,500 views as of now - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQvEoihC4MQ#t=25

I can, with complete confidence, say that if I were chipping for Tiger today, his score would be multiple shots better

Hit all 3 ceremonial balls into the drink today to start off his tourney.

He sucks even when he isn't in the field. How embarrassing.

I miss Eldrick and hope that he can find his game again and return to the tour. Watching golf is more fun with him in the field.

i've been waiting for a few years now.... maybe just maybe we'll get the equivalent to jack in 86' with tiger in a few years. luckily the young kids have made the majority of the recent majors very compelling TV even without Tiger

Tiger making his return today, think it starts on Golf Channel at noon.

Pretty cool 4some he played in earlier in the week, Tiger, gold medalist Justin Rose, Derek Jeter and Tino Martinez. I assume that last guy was the caddie?

Overall, not terrible for a guy who hasn't played in 15 months.

why is that disappointing? He's not good at golf anymore. It's about as disappointing as realizing Michael Jordan won't be participating in the NBA playoffs this year.

Just thought it would be cool to see him down there during the practice round I am going to. More nostalgia than anything.

oh my bad, didn't realize you gonna be there. In your case, definitely disappointing he won't be there to see in person.

They might push him up there in his wheel chair and then prop him up and let him take a rip.
