Interesting to see Albert falling apart early in his career. I wonder why.

The Tiger lineup is incredible and they still have a chip that they could deal away for more pitching in Brandon Inge.

My peeps in Detroit tell me that Brandon Inge wants out.

That one was obvious from the day the trade for Cabrerra went through. There is no place to put him in the lineup. I hope someone does not consider him to be the poor man's version of Crede and he ends up driving down the price the Sox can get for Joe.

Inge is one of those fire and passion types who look great at first glance and who really do not hold up well under close inspection.

I don't get it. What kind of pitching could you get for a guy who will hit 240 with 15-20 home runs? I just don't understand.

A starting third baseman at a reasonable price should get them the middle relief help they need. I believe Inge is more of a 25-30 HR guy, but I would have to look that up. In addition, I believe he is one of those guys who can play every positon but pitcher. The Tigers are working him at catcher right now (although unsuccessfully).

Exactly. He could be a very successful Ty Wigginton / Aubrey Huff guy, playing - like you said - every position but pitcher, but as a starting 3B he's not going to put up the sustained production of a better player.

Re: Pujols, he's been going real, real low in the mock fantasy drafts I've done so far. I think just about everyone's scared off, including the basement-dwelling self-soiling fantasy types.

I had read where Inge told them hes a starter not a bench player. To me, on a good team he is a bench player, he hits like shit.

Last 4 seasons
13, 16, 27, 14 HRs
and averages:
287, 261, 253, 236

He's also 31 this season so on the downside of the career. Sell me again on him. :-)

The power is less than I thought but would expect to increase outside of Detroit. Anyway, a 20 HR super utility guy has value.
