I will always go after kenny until he proves me wrong or I see something that shows me how smart the guy is! I recognize all GM's will make good and bad moves, so one bad move does not make him bad.

This is the brilliance of Kenny.

To Kennys defense, what I am told was ' Bartolos agent was calling around and askign if anyone is interested and kenny MIGHT have said he was if Bartolo can throw, isn't fat, etc,

But I have to say if Bartolo was MLB ready, or close enough I cant imagine someone not giving him a deal.

On the flip side, BArtolo was never a slim guy and the fact he made $28 million the last 2 years while only pitching about 140 innings, I am going to go out on alimb and say my guy is not doing any Ballys commericals soon.

Looks like Kenny was right. And when he said after the Tigers traded for Willis and Cabrera that the Tigers were "trying to keep up with the White Sox", he was right too.
