Now since I was on a little bit of a sabatical, can I get the cliff notes version of what Mr. America did while doing his Uber business, thanks in advance.

If you cancel on people after 5 minutes you get $5. I cancelled on people.

This apparently was too much to bear for the virgin ears of the CSFMB

He found and exploited some loophole in Uber where he could get a $5 down payment on a fare without picking the person up, something like that.

When everyone is so eager to ignore my point and make everything about me (including and especially management) it really doesn't make me feel like I'm too far off the mark.

Now that is pretty shady, that's for sure.

bigfan should be shit on to the extent that it was a Herculean endeavor for us to have spent all those years trying to communicate with a boardrunner who was functionally illiterate. That he would use his dominion over the board to work out petty grudges was really, for the internet, totally normal, but the least you can do when you do that stuff is be able to articulate it.

New management does not have an anti-bigfan stance. In fact, we were ready and willing to give him his own section. And he is welcome here anytime.

And how would you suggest that these three go about disproving shit that you've just thrown out there without any evidence?

This seems to be a huge point here that is getting overlooked. The anti bigfan stuff never comes from the wisemen.

You forgot to insert 'conveniently' there.

So am I basically understanding that BagHead is just pissy because the 3 Headed Admin wouldn't adhere to his dictatorial control?

I think the only anti-bigfan people were the ones that said it all to his face. I don't think anyone has started talking shit that didn't when biggie was still around. America is just making shit up because he's bored.

Anyone who doesn't think bigfan is routinely mocked on this board by nearly everyone involved is not leaving the NASCAR forum. This thread has a lot of people who haven't had a nice thing to say about the guy in almost a year backpedaling like crazy, but I'm not fooled.

I never met bigfan in person, but he is the reason why I left the board previously.

What had once been a fun place was turned into an oppressive nightmare based on a seemingly bi-polar dictator. Routine bans for anyone who disagreed with him. Posts and entire threads disappearing simply because someone said something he didn't like. There were constant threats of bannings. He was acting like a pissy 12 year old girl. It wasn't remotely fun anymore.

I'm not privy to any inside info about how the exchange went down, but based solely on bigfan's behavior on the board, I have no trouble believing that it happened just as the big 3 say.

So, props for starting it, but that doesn't excuse his behavior, which is what gets him shit on.

If you're looking for fast and lean highlights, then I suppose that would be one of them, yes. I believe you can add that his offense was taken, if I recall correctly (and if not, sorry), post-sale and that he had some hair-brained scheme to nuke the whole bored if his orders weren't followed ... thus the backup being put into place somewhat ahead of time completely unbeknownst to him ... and why I, and I suspect a number of others, really thoroughly enjoyed his last few nutwagon threads and terribly veiled threats and whatnot.

Stop crying. Your point has been addressed and properly refuted by those who seemingly know much more about what happened than you do.

Neat

So his scheme to nuke the whole thing was based on what, some sort of Dr Evil type plot, except instead of one (1) million American dollars, he was going to do it because Joe Orr Nas Seacrest wouldn't ban Farvio, Leash, Chuse, McNown, et al? And he's since moved to Arizona, the Meth capitol of the world?

Again, as a mean and lean overview, I'll go with 'yes'. I think he may have broached the topic pre-sale and was told nope and he seemed to let it go ... then it reared its ugly head again ... perhaps comingled with some degree of seller's remorse - that part I can understand completely ... going full assbag mode though? Uh, no.

Thankfully though, it was such a well-thought out and completely unpredictable scheme that it was more or less sussed out well before it could ever come to a head and, as such, a number of necessary machinations were attended to as a means to circumnavigate the tomfoolery in the event it came to something like that.

I don't get the part of his plan or miscalculation where he thought after the nuking we were all going to come to his new (now virtually dead) board.
