Who do you think will get moved today before the deadline?

Andre Miller
Mike Miller
Kyle Lowry
Ron Artest
Zack Randolph

all seem to be the names we've seen the most out there

Also read there's an earth shattering trade between Rockets & Hornets- Mike James & Bonzi Wells for Bobby Jackson

And Spurs picked up Kurt Thomas

The Rockets reached agreement on a deal that will send guard/forward Bonzi Wells and guard Mike James to New Orleans today in exchange for backup point guard Bobby Jackson, individuals with knowledge of the talks said Wednesday night.

The Rockets will make the move to add Jackson as a veteran point guard to play behind Rafer Alston, sending Wells to the first-place Hornets while getting New Orleans to take on the two seasons and $12.7 million remaining on James' contract after this season.
Jackson is signed for $6.1 million through the 2008-09 season, potentially offering the Rockets the roster flexibility next season — with a large, expiring contract — that they did not have this season.

Honestly, I'm not sure why the Hornets would do that. I think the Rockets come out good in that trade

And by the way, when will the NBA give up on Mike James? He had a little hot streak for awhile in Toronto and was able to parlay that into a nice contract with the Timberwolves and hasn't done shit for them or the Rockets. He really made the most out of his 15 minutes of fame

I think Artest is the most likely to get moved. Now that Sacramento has moved Bibby, it really makes little sense to keep Artest. Udrih will have the rest of the year to start at point guard with the Bibby trade, and Salmons should get the same opportunity with a Bibby trade. Denver and NY seem to be most interested.

I don't think Andre Miller goes anywhere. I believe he's a free agent at the end of the season, and Philly will have some room to play with this off-season. Plus, he's a solid point guard, and having that position steady helps a younger team.

Mike Miller is going to get traded. It's possible that happens today, but if not, it will definitely happen before the start of the next season.

I think Lowry will get moved as well, but he can probably bring back another young player or draft pick so since this wouldn't be a cost cutting move, I think a move on him will happen later.

They were probably just looking for veteran depth come playoff time. Wells is a nice half court player if you can keep him focused, and although I do agree with you on James (he was good for a bit in Toronto, and that is about it).....

Ryan, Chicago: Please tell me Ben Wallace is on the move

Chad Ford: (1:24 PM ET ) Maybe ... call was about Ben Wallace in a possible deal with the Cavs. I've got to stress that it was from what I'd call a third party source ... not someone directly involved in the negotiations. So ... take it with a grain of salt ... but interesting ...

Chad Ford: (1:25 PM ET ) The deal as I heard it ... by the way ... had Drew Gooden, Ira Newble, Shannon Brown and Cederic Simmons coming back to Chicago.

Now that Ben knows that the Bulls tried to trade him unsuccessfully, I'm sure he will have a very productive rest of the season.
