You cannot compare to the Cubs to a historical great team. It simply does not work. The Cubs are a great story, but they are not a historically great team like the 2005 White Sox were. I am sorry if you cannot understand this fact.

Wrong.

It is wrong. Cleveland was missing TWO front of the rotation SP, not one.

You are correct, but I said the Indians were missing their best pitcher. I didn't say how many pitchers they were missing. So my post is 100% fact.

I hope that reply is meant for Kirkwood and Cubs fans, because they are the ones crying.

I am listing facts. If there were some of those out there to support your claim, you would have posted them already.

Just when I thought your narrative couldn't get more sad & insecure, you did it again! The Cubs and Cubs fans sure own a lot of real estate in your weak little head! Enjoy the ring ceremony tonight! We will, and will continue enjoying our team and laughing at you.

Yup.

Wire to wire, just like the 2005 White Sox, but they had to deal with a pressure only a pre-2004 Red Sox team could ever understand in the playoffs.

Anyone can go 11-1 when no one cares.

The White Sox had not won since 1917.

It refutes your argument of pressure. Try again if you dare.

It happened a few weeks ago but when the Romo to the booth story came out Larry and Bernstein were talking about it and Bernstein basically didn't care that he was jumping right into the booth over other people who were already there and Larry said at least three times that he understands why people would be upset that it was just handed over to Tony Romo.

Without saying it, it seemed like he was thinking specifically about Parkins when saying it. It was me inferring what he was saying but I'm pretty confident that if you asked him what he thought about Parkins it would include some negative things.

Just like their place in comparison to the 2005 White Sox.

Poor Cubbie Nation. Embarrassing themselves on shiny ring day.

not a chance. the 16 cubs were a way better team than the 05 astros and those astros were a pain in the ass for the sox

05 Sox probably win in 5. The 16 Cubs were at least as good as the 2005 Angels.

It certainly was a pain in the ass to the Sox for the Astros not to win a game so the Sox couldn't celebrate at home

With what happened in the Cleveland series I don't think you can say that.
