I generally prefer to not eat like I was in a 2nd grade lunchroom.

Get some frigging BBQ shredded beef brisket or even pulled pork ... someone like you, a self-described pig swinger, shouldn't have much of a problem laying your hands on some fresh product.

Nothing wrong about being nostalgic about shitty food we loved as a kid.

My grandma use to make egg salad and I will get a craving for it still once in a while.

Corn dogs as well.

Oh, and it be nice to have that taco shit they served in a Fritos bag back in high school.

I don't know if I'd care to eat any of that stuff if I didn't love it in my childhood.

Mine is Kraft Mac n Cheese in the box. Basically not allowed in the house now. Have to be some fancy home made shit if we have it.

It doesn't take much to spruce up some Kraft Mac and Cheese. Make it as usual, add some extra shredded cheese to it...a little garlic salt or powder...a few splashes of Frank's Red Hot sauce.

Add a little shredded chicken, pulled off a rotisserie bird from anyplace, and you've got some fine Buffalo chicken mac and cheese. Delicious!

I'm not a big fan of mac and cheese. All the high end steak houses have fancy versions, truffled, with lobster, etc. It doesn't do much for me. Oddly enough, I love Kraft Dinner.

If you are really lazy, get the Boars Head buffalo chicken from the deli and mix it in to your mac and cheese. It's great.

Cut up a couple hot dogs, and fry them in a pan with a chopped jalapeno. Throw that in the mac n cheese with a diced tomato, and some shredded cheese. You have a cheap, easy meal for two.

There is a difference between "high quality" and "tastes good". An Arby's Beef n Cheddar is low quality, but that shit is heaven if you're hungry and haven't had it in awhile. Same with a lot of fast food joints.

I'm not saying Manwich is high quality - I'm saying that processed shit hits the spot. To JORR's point, I'd take some sharp cheddar mac n cheese in a box over some fancy crap any day.

Great breakfast burrito recipe (and easy as hell):

Scramble a couple eggs and a bit of garlic powder
Take your favorite salsa and throw it in once the eggs are almost cooked
Take some Boars Head ham and chop it up and throw it in too
Take a tortilla and put in some shredded cheddar cheese
Take the eggs/salsa/ham and put it in the tortilla on top of the cheese

Easy and great.

The organic or gluten free Annie's shells and cheese is much better than the Kraft.

I never order that at the steak houses...there are much better things on the ala carte menu that aren't nearly as filling.

The other low end boxed dinner I like is Tuna Helper. I could eat the entire serving at several thousand calories.
