I will be there today. Always nice to watch someone like "Winning Pitcher" Kyle Hendricks work.

Maybe Hendricks just pitches better than who he is facing the majority of the time.

That's the name of the game, isn't it? He somehow managed to go 7-2 in 13 starts on an atrocious team that lost 90 games and scored only 600 runs. But I'm sure if Jose Quintana had handled those 13 starts he'd have gone 13-0. Run support!

Well, in 4 of those "wins", the Cubs did score 6 or more runs & one of the "losses" was 1-0. So yeah, good call on the run support! Hendricks mainly pitched in the second half of that season when as a team they played a bit better that season, including the bullpen and hitting. Enjoy the game.

Yeah, the team played better because "Winning Pitcher" Kyle Hendricks was starting games instead of a turd like Jeff Samardzija.

I am not sure what would be the most fun to watch right now- Almora going after well hit ball, the Baez snap tag, or the mastery of Hendricks pitching......oh damn, who am I kidding, the Babe's swing!

He almost made a nice catch against the wall. Went in and out the glove.

Now leave this thread and don't come back.

Ah. As I didn't see it the game thread made it seem like he had a blunder.
