The Celtics are the one seed in the East? The NBA regular season is officially meaningless. And while it was fun to see the Bulls win that end of the game was brutal. The officials tried to let Boston back in, and it took 20 minutes to play the last 90 seconds.

Yep. We've gone from the days of the '90's, when teams really pushed to win as many regular season games as possible, to now, when the regular season is pretty pointless (not that it wasn't before).

Ironically, the pointlessness of the regular season sometimes leads to more appealing first round matchups such as this one. The talent difference between these two teams is negligible.
