With a lot of infighting going on in the forums recently, I thought I'd start a new positive maybe nostalgic thread to turn the tide of the forums.
When I was a youngster, I loved everything baseball but ESPECIALLY the history of baseball.
My elders would love talking about the good ol' days of baseball in the 40s and 50s. Dimaggio, Mantle, Mays, Robinson, etc....
So I use to love buying old time baseball hats. Back then, there was no internet so you had to write a letter to the MLB or Cooperstown and they would mail you a catalog in the mail where you could buy old time hats. I think the only place that made them was somewhere in Virginia or NC.
Anyway, what are your favorite baseball hats? They don't need to be MLB always. Here is my list (hopefully this forum's picture thingy works).
================== TOP 5 ==========================
5.
2001 Angels Road CapI always liked the color scheme and the wings. The special thing about this hat is it's not that old of an hat but it looks like a hat that was made back in the 30's or 40s. Very cool sky blue lid.

4. :
80s Brewers Road CapI know the Brewers brought this back for a long time it was a classic. What a great logo, Milwaukee Brewers baseball, all in that one logo with the gold background and the surrounding blue. Don Draper eat your heart out. Brewers should have never been forced to leave the AL.

3.
1911-1913 Brooklyn DodgersLove the diamond around the B. The colors are nicely faded too to match. Beautiful hat. Just screams baseball.

Honorable mention : their 1913 version of the hat was nice as well :

2. :
50's Go Go White SoxEven I as a diehard Cubs fan cannot ignore how beautiful this hat is. I owned this hat but never wore it in public as I didnt want to get beat up by my fellow Cubs fans. I would never put it fully on my head but just wave it around my head in the mirror to see how it looked. It is the White Sox hat. They should bring this back and keep it forever.

1.
40s/50s New York Giants This is the best hat I've ever owned. It looks great and wears great. The black and the Orange are a perfect color combination and the old style NY logo is beautiful. It also represents a time in baseball long gone. Only baseball people know this hat. When I wear this hat you can tell who's a real fan and a regular fan. Hey why you wearing a Mets hat? No fool. It's not a mets hat.

Most Overrated Hat : 40s/50s Brooklyn DodgersIt's TOO blue and TOO bright. And I always thought the B was too big and unimaginative. Dodgers did a good thing by darkening the hat over the years and the LA logo looks more fitting.
Most Unintentionally Offensive Hat : Cubs 1908 - 1924 hatYes it looks like a masturbating bear
