Yes, Mike South(side) is as ignorant as he sounds.

He interviews Dusty Baker, and asks, "How does it feel to manage the SECOND team in this town?" Dusty, having class and for once a cogent answer, says, "Why can't we have TWO number one teams here? The Cubs and Sox are in different leagues, and we should cheer for both. I was pulling for the Sox all the way." To which Mike South(side) mumbles something about you not understanding this town, and the Sox just took it over, pal.

Remember something, Mike South(side)/Cubs hater. The Cubs have "owned" this town for years. WHEN the Sox don't make the playoffs again for years, that Cell Block will be half empty again. Wrigley, on the other hand, will be full of Cub fans. Call it a gay bar, you losers. Call it a drunkfest. Call it what you waant -- you only WISH the Sox were an organization like the Cubs are! And KEEP UP the Cubs hate --- it WILL be the demise of the SCORE!

North or as you call him South! does that on every interview. He actually plans the interview beforehand and writes down his questions or statements before hand. Most good interviewers do that. The problem with Mike North is that he writes down things that he believes in his own puny mind are intriguing questions or statements that will entrap his guests in a controversial conversatin that will result in NEWS thus getting more ratings.

The reality of the matter is that his questions are so poor, that most guests (even Dusty) are smart enough to know exactly what North is going for and they don't play his game, making North look worse than he actually he is, because then he usually tries to hammer the point to a guest.

Then the interviews are over and he looks to his YES support group to tell him what a fine job he did and what a great improvement Mike has done in his interviewing skills.

Purrfect, what you say was illustrated a while back in an interview North did with an army recruiter. North had obviously planned to go after him because the army had increased its standards for recruits. The recruiter explained that the army had found that in order to have 100 new soldiers a year after recruitment, they had to sign 150 H.S. drop outs, but only about 115 H.S. grads. This because non-grads had much higher rates of screwing up. So it was more efficient to recruit grads than non-grads.

This statement went over North's head by about two miles. He didn't have near the intelligence to understand it. He starts obviously reading prepared questions:

North , "So you're saying you need a diploma to shoot a
rifle?".
Recruiter, "No, its just more cost-effective to recruit grads".
North, "So you're telling our WWII vets that they were too dumb
to fight?".
Recruiter, "No, we just need to limit our recruiting failure rate.

North fired off a couple more confused questions and then mumbled his way into a commercial, still confused by the recruiter's point. I always think of it as an example of North's low IQ.

So, more simpley put, Mike North is pretty much an asshole, that thinks he isn't.

I've met alot of stupid people like Pappy in my life. To be honest, im jelous of stupid people. Because when your stupid...you are too stupid to realize that you are stupid. So Pappy walks through life with that slacked jawed smile on his face....Slapping people on the back and spewing his stupidity on everyone.

I just wish that Pappy could realize that every time he leaves a room everyone is amazed that a 55 year old man could be as dumb as pappy.

All of his illogical reasoning is so irritating. I pray that some one on his own show would try to point it out to him. They won't. There just cashing their checks until the garbage show is blown up.
