I didn't think Cecile Strong was even there until the end.

She's usually in everything.

And along with Kate McKinnon should be getting the hell outta there ASAP.

This week's episode with host Melissa McCarthy and musical guest female Hanson was not good. There was barely even a chuckle-worthy moment. Lots of unfunny Trump material, though.

I have never found Kyle Mooney to be funny and pairing him with Leslie Jones does not help. The giant black woman is married to a tiny little white guy. What a mismatched pair!

I assume the bass player in female Hanson (I guess their actual name is Haim) is doing a bit with her facial expressions.

At 9:00 tonight they are showing an episode from 1996 with host Jim Carrey and musical guest Soundgarden.

Tonight's season finale at 10:30 is hosted by Dwayne Johnson with musical guest Katy Perry (what the hell did she do to her hair?). I have a hunch that The Rock Obama will make an appearance and get into a physical altercation with President Trump to squeals of delight from the audience.

That Jim Carrey episode is the one with the Roxbury "What is Love", sketch right? (This one) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tojicre_Qe8

I miss when SNL was funny. The Trump stuff was funny earlier in the year, but now it's so overplayed and unoriginal.

I think there is also a pretty good sketch with Carrey as a lifeguard at what amounts to a wading pool making Will Ferrell miserable.

Oh yeah. I'm seeing it now. That's a bad hair cut for Katty Perry. Short hair is one thing. But the male look is another thing. Bad look Katie. I assume she's making some point. Good for her. But she no longer looks good.

Oh, and this was Bayer and Moynahan's last show. Hopefully, there will be others to follow.

Well, that was a disappointing episode. It's too bad Bobby Moynihan is leaving, he was a pretty solid performer as was Vanessa Bayer. I'd like to see them replace Kyle Mooney with someone funny.

Moynihan is going to a new sitcom for CBS. Bayer will probably end up in the alternative access television abyss.

Yeah, the millennials love Mooney for his web stuff, so, of course I'm just too old to get him.

The things I've seen him do solo or with Beck Bennett just don't do it for me. I do think Bennett is much better on SNL than Mooney is, though.

Mooney is more of that British humor kinda thing. You are probably not going to LOL out loud, but he is entertaining.

I liked the Mad Scientist sketch. Except I felt like the players sucked compared to the host. The Rock made the sketch. It shows how bad this cast has become to get shown up like that.

They really should've let Pete Davidson take the Rock's role in that.

The adult baby thing is great... that should be mandatory once per season.

Sasheer Zamata also leaving...which sucks if only for the reason that it means Leslie Jones will probably stick around awhile longer :puker:

I like British humor (Monty Python, Dave Allen (Well, he was Irish), As Times Goes By, Jeeves and Wooster) but am not a fan on Mooney.

Jay Pharoah did the best set of impressions I've ever heard. His Chris Rock was so convincing, I thought Chris Rock was backstage throwing his voice.

Can't substantiate from my end, but word from the depths of that businesses' bowels is that Pharoah is a huge prima donna and is a raging assbag.
