Why the fuck would the Suns give up the 4th pick AND a good young player to get Love? Like I said, that's veto-level bad.

I keep hearing the Suns. I honestly have no clue how the Cavs would acquire Butler without giving up Love or Kyrie. If they do, the NBA should veto the trade like they did the Paul/Lakers trade.

They have said Love to Suns, Suns #1 and a player to Bulls, Butler to Cavs.

If it's Booker or Bledsoe plus a #1 I do it in a heartbeat. Maybe even Chris too

If it's Booker I would do it in a heartbeat.

If the Suns trade the 4th overall pick and Devin Booker for Kevin Love the franchise should be immediately disbanded. Some of you are living in fantasyland

Same fantasyland that believes the Bulls can acquire two top 5 picks for Butler apparently

The Suns aren't interested gentlemen. Devin Booker is staying in the desert no matter what. Phil Jackson asked about Booker yesterday. He offered Kristaps for Booker and the Suns #4 pick. Phoenix declined. John Gambadoro said Cleveland was interested in the #4 pick but there were never discussions about Kevin Love. The Suns aren't stupid. Maybe Kyrie would do it.

Why is the market for Butler so light? According to message board posters he is s top 10 guy. It appears that the Bulls will have to give him away in order to trade him.

Yeah, the Suns have a decent rebuilding thing going on. It names zero sense for them to blow that up to acquire Kevin Love

It's all about leverage. It's the same reason your boy Cousins brought back an awful return.

We don't know what the market for Butler is yet. It's all speculation at this point.

I'm saying that I would trade Butler for Booker straight up.

That it isn't a top 5 pick. You're not getting it straight up for him. If team after team has rebuffed Paxson then Butler can't be worth a top 5 pick. Butler will probably net a starter and a mid first rounder. Probably the best that Paxson can hope for.

Sounds like you've been listening to fake news. There's nothing to indicate team after team has rebuffed offers for Butler. You're talking of your ass again my friend.

I posted that after I saw Cowley and Marc Stein tweet about it but really nobody knows anything right now from the sound of it

GM Tibs would rank with GM Jackson on that one.

Bagels, would you do Lavine, #7, Rubio, and a 2019 first rounder?

Before anyone posts a laugh emoji I would strongly consider revoking my MN fandom if Wiggins or Towns is traded for Jimmy. This is about the extent of what I'd give up.

Did you really need to mention Towns?

Wiggins is a possibility and you should be happy if you get Butler for Wiggins since Butler is much better. I'm not an advanced stats guy, but those who are list Wiggins as one of the most overrated players in the league and have him as overall, an average NBA player.

Knowing GarPax it will end up being MN's #7 and the corpse of Nikola Pekovic for Butler.
