Definitely not. Chris Paul is the best PG in the league this year, and my guess is he will be for the considerable future.

It's way to early to evaluate the trade. Come back to it in May, that's the whole reason the trade went down so they would have a big man when it really matters.

They might not be there in May.

it is a bad trade. shaqs to old to run the floor in that offense.

But he's diving for loose balls like a 25 year old? Shaq is not the problem, hes played great and done exactly what the Suns wanted him to do, which is hustle, grab rebounds, and play good defense. The Suns awful perimeter defense and lack of ball movement due to adjusting to Shaq have been the biggest problems so far. I expect the Suns to be there in May still, and they will be ugly but they will also be a tough out. They have already beat Boston and San Antonio since the trade.

Should be an interesting game tonight vs. the Warriors

Since they're really the premier run and gun team, we'll see if Shaq can keep up

Read that Bill Simmons column the other day on NBA 'what if's" where he details what the Suns roster could have looked like had they just paid the luxury tax year to year. As it stands they are now looking very old. Again, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have extended Marion for the money he was making, but on the other hand he's one of their few young players and they traded him for Methusala

i dont think shaq has gas in the tank to play like this in may. and the rest of the team isnt playing as well because they had to tweak their offense in the middle of the season. ive never been on an nba team but i guess this would be hard to do.
