This isn't news.

Darlington added that so far the interest strictly comes from Cutler and that the Dolphins have yet to consider signing him.

Cutler to Miami only if he starts and gets paid starter money.

And the job actually hasn't been offered to him.

Bill Cosby RIP.

It's not news that he would come out of retirement and give up his broadcaster job to play again?

How much stronger of a signal could Cutler send? He's making it easy for Gase.

Yeah, this isn't news. The broadcasting job wasn't really a choice.

Not his choice? Did you get your job by not having a choice?

This is the only sensible move for Miami, because it actually could work with Cutler.

No NFL team would sign Cutler as a starter, and he did not want to be a backup. It IS his choice to not be on an NFL roster this year.

Kill yourself.

With how much money Cutler made in his career I doubt he plays for cheap either and you don't really sign a guy who isn't playing for big money.

If I'm the Bears I am calling them offering Glennon for the right price.

What do you think Glennon is worth? Tannehill will ready for week 1 reg season. Who gives a crap about the four preseason games, they have 2 backups.

Pace will offer Tribisky and a 4th round pick to move up 4 spots in the 2018 draft.

I think it would be a no-brainer for the Bears to trade him for a second round pick given his limited future with the Bears one way or another. It depends how desperate Miami is though. If Tannehill is out for the season and the Dolphins think they are good this year it's their best chance. The Vikings gave up a ton for a pretty average quarterback.

A second in 2018 and a conditional pick in 2019 based on Glennon's performance in 2017. If Glennon gets snaps in an AFC championship game for the Fish, it's another second. Make it a 5th if they miss the playoffs.

He might have some coaching magic with former Bear,Matt Barkley who looked pretty darn good up until that game where the Bears WR dropped game winning passes more than once.

From https://sports.yahoo.com/report-dolphin ... 58761.html

Quote:
Report: Dolphins have reached out to Jay Cutler

As the Dolphins continue to await word on the severity of Ryan Tannehill‘s knee injury, the momentum for Jay Cutler is building in Miami.

The Dolphins have reached out to Cutler, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

Dolphins coach Adam Gase, who coached Cutler when he was the Bears’ offensive coordinator in 2015, has personally been in touch with Cutler, the report says. Cutler had a good season in Gase’s offense and the two get along well personally.

The Bears cut Cutler in March, so he’s a free agent and there are no restrictions on the Dolphins contacting him or signing him. He has already signed with CBS to work as an announcer this year, but that wouldn’t preclude him from changing his mind and returning to the field if the right opportunity arises.

Gase said today that Matt Moore is now the Dolphins’ quarterback, but Gase made clear that’s only the case “right now.” If Tannehill is out for the season, the Dolphins may go shopping for a new quarterback, and Cutler could be the man.

And assuming no changes to the schedule format the NFC North plays the AFC East next year....

I'm with you. It didn't work for him in Chicago because of dumb-ass GMs and coaching. And when he did have the right coach, he was gone after one year.

Awesome.

Still a chance to win the dead pool with a life ending injury to the king of turds - Jay Cutler.
