Outside of FavreFan, the board is pretty terrible right now.

Part of what makes this place great is the discourse and, just as importantly, the posters that are lightning rods.

I agree with you about what makes this place great, but we can have all of that without having a guy that thinks his shit dont stink and follows people around to completely berate them over and over and over again. That is not being a lightning rod, but being a litttle bitch, one that this place will do fine without.

There are plenty of people on here that follow people around for the purpose of berating them. I'd often find myself reading his posts and he didn't seem like a guy that had a perpetual ax to grind. If he made a mistake and that is debatable, then he shouldn't have to leave this place because of it.

If I had to venture a guess he probably did it because of the realization that this place had become a tad bit too incestuous for him. Just a guess but who really knows.

We went around several times. But it did get fewer and farther between because I tired of the whole ordeal that went along with disagreeing with him on anything. It became easier to just ignore his bitch moments.

It's no mystery why he left. He thought he'd be carried thru the board streets for the Chas thing because it worked in the past when he got the bowling scores for Elmhurst Steve. Instead people thought he crossed a line and he wasn't prepared for that reaction. Then the IMU thread was the straw that broke the camels back. He had been on the defensive for a while and that thread got ugly. I'm surprised he would quit cold turkey but I'm sure he'll back eventually. He'll get more shit and then things will be back to normal.
