Move over Koren Robinson....

Harry Teinowitz says this guy is going to rescue the Bears offense.

He's got the toughness, intestinal fortitude and savvy wherewithal to be a big time playmaker for the Bears!

Maybe they can go after Harry's 'other guy' between Koren Robinson and now Brandon Lloyd - ANTONIO BRYANT!!

At least this would be something different to watch.

The Bears WRs last year would let the ball actually hit them in the hands or chest then drop it...

Factually speaking they actually weren't that bad. Then again, when they have so FEW opportunities - the drops stand out.

Berrian had 128 targets, 71 receptions, 4 drops
of course the 'drop' stat doesn't include cutting routes short, or alligator armin' an attempt.

Drops by player (not percent of drops):

Drops by team:

Desmond Clark led the Bears in drops - tied in the league with... MARTY BOOKER OF MIAMI (AHHHH!!!!!!)

When you consider HOW much the Bears passed, the fact that they rank higher than Indy and New England in drops is pretty pathetic:

Rank Team Passes Dropped
1 New York Giants 42
2 New Orleans Saints 41
3 Chicago Bears 40
4 Indianapolis Colts 38
5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 35
6 Cleveland Browns 33
7 New England Patriots 32
8 San Francisco 49ers 32
9 Carolina Panthers 32
10 Detroit Lions 30
11 St. Louis Rams 30
12 Kansas City Chiefs 29
13 Miami Dolphins 29
14 Arizona Cardinals 29
15 Washington Redskins 29
16 Atlanta Falcons 28
17 Dallas Cowboys 27
18 Minnesota Vikings 27
19 Philadelphia Eagles 26
20 Baltimore Ravens 26
21 Denver Broncos 25
22 New York Jets 24
23 Seattle Seahawks 24
24 Jacksonville Jaguars 24
25 Cincinnati Bengals 23
26 Pittsburgh Steelers 21
27 Green Bay Packers 20
28 Oakland Raiders 20
29 Buffalo Bills 17

How many passing attempts did the Bears have? I bet their #of drops per pass attempt is higher than most teams.

So really - drop the ball more and win the Super Bowl - as the Giants were by far the worst in percentage of drops (fewer attempts than both the Bears and New Orleans - with more drops).
