MJH... jumped the shark?

this show has finally worn out its welcome. it used to be my favorite, a can't miss part of the afternoon, but now i don't care. i hardly listen, and today i couldn't make it through an entire segment without punching the button.

jurko is insufferable. he seems interested in nothing other than ripping harry and cashing his checks.

harry is the same old hackneyed harry.

someone needs to challenge mac, lest the show devolve into the same old blather permanently.

You obviously don't like the show as much as you used to - but how has MJH "jumped the shark" exactly?

Did the producers let them play their own instruments for the first time - as long as they made it to Hollywood? Oh wait, wrong show...... :wink:

i think that the introduction of the post-game show has had a deleterious effect on the overall quality of the show. i find it especially irksome when they replay an interview during the five o'clock hour, rather than waiting for the post-game to start.

I suggest none of them watch any sports, make fun of some TV network, let their listener's air their opinions, let them hang up and then call them dopes.

I'm not thrilled with post game either. I don't know how much it affects the rest of the show but I hate to hear them winding up the show in the middle of the 5 o'clock hour.

I think its just the dwell between football season and baseball season thats causing your unhappiness...Once April 1 hits and the Cubs and/or Sox got their ass whupped in the lid lifter, MJH will get their fire and passion back.

Anybody named Hubert Sumlin is okay in my book. The man has some chops. When I'm 77, I hope I'm still alive, let alone playing blues guitar like he does.

I find myself drifting from time to time as well.

What the hell is there to look forward to? Not working and watching the NCAA tourney?
It's the sports doldrums right now. Serioulsy. I'm looking forward to playing golf (April or May), the NFL draft (late April), and going to baseball games in June and July.

I love the movie Roadhouse and Jeff played a big part in it but the same things goes for Patrick Sawyzie when he goes too Dougie. :wink:

Being joyous because a crusty owner is now gone....have at it.

Making fun of a blind musician who died from a disease that he'd been battling for 40 years = douchebaggage bitchassness.

by novelty act you mean "blind musician" right?

quite a few assumptions there.
How do you know he wouldn't have been a better musician or a famous actor or a meth addict who kills his girlfriend and drives his car into a ravine?
