Perhaps you haven't read any of the past posts.

1) OG's voice is annoying.
2) OG talks too much about his personal life/car deal.
3) OG is boring.

To summarize briefly, though:

1)OG's performances on Bulls' pre/post are abysmal. Rather than focusing on the team, he attempts to make himself the subject matter of the broadcasts. In so doing, he detracts from the team's image and alienates Bulls fans and ESPN listeners. OG is also guilty of such boring narcissism in his non-Bulls work. Like Zach Zaidman, OG seems to have begun a career in sports broadcasting more for the love of hearing his own voice than for the love of sports.

2)OG's interactions with Wennington and Funk, while intended to be "clever" and "witty", come across as contrived and awkward, thus imbuing his Bulls work with a pervasive aura of amateurishness.

3)For all his broadcasting experience, OG is incapable of analyzing sports contests with the specificity or sophistication of much less experienced hosts such as Abbatacola or Goff. His amateurishness is thus not a product of a lack of opportunity, but of a lack of talent.

While you are wrong on all 3 counts, at least you can put together a cogent thought, unlike the majority of posters on this board.

Last September, Mike predicted that the Cubs would trade Patterson to an American League team. As usual, he was right on the money.

The reason for the ackwardness with Wennington and Funk, is that Mike is more knowldgeable and articulate then Wennington and Funk. They are the worst team announcers in Chicago.

Mike talks less about himself then Carmen, Silvy, MJH, Finfer etc.
