God, the Bears find something interesting and choose to just be in denial over it.

There's a protocol before the best players on the Bears have ever been allowed to play.

And that protocol usually involves them going to another team to play lol

Yeah, I'm sure in the 30's those are All Pro numbers.

Nothing against Sanchez, but there is ZERO reason to play him. I am sure he would do fine as an emergency starter, even with zero reps. It's an embarrassment for the coaches to play him.

Holy shit.

I've never seen a ball hook that much with no wind on a fairly short kick.

How did he do that? How the hell did he spin it like that? What pro kicker does that? I've never seen that in the NFL. Not that much of a curve ball.

He sucks.

Ryan Pace:

Beardown: Yeah.

A little adversity for the Rookie. Let's see how he responds.

Also good to give him more things to work on and improve. Better to get a lot of that now than later. If we're just looking at his raw talent you can see it's there, he just has to keep improving everywhere else.

Nice to see Mitch go out and look good on that drive and finish with tossing a touchdown after a slow start.

Can we just start him?

The money for Glennon is sunk. So what does that matter?

I'd rather go 7-9 with the rookie than 5-11 with Glennon.

It will than advance the Polish QB for next year.

Why pretend, Fox and Pace? You know it. Let's just do it.

I think by week 4 or so they'll have no choice. Glennon's set up and delivery is awful and half his passes are knuckle balls. He also can't throw out routes at all. I'll say it again: this all should have been caught on the film they watched of him, he's a terrible investment in any sense. There's a reason he could never elevate to a permanent starting position in Tampa -he isn't good enough. I'm starting to question even his status as a back up.

I'm with ya. I wasn't talking smack about him, just critiquing (sort of). I'm glad he didn't play perfect from the start and wound up getting past it and looking good in the end. I want to know how the kid responds to some rough outings. A trait all the good QB's have is being able to work thru rough patches. Guys like Cutler (for example) would just regress more and more instead of fighting thru it. And I want to know if Mitch has that.
