Just checking to see if the W-H-O-R-E....I mean W-S-C-R has made any new changes for '06.

Any reason for me to check it out?

Any outrageous and zany things goin down on THe Score?

Any great Sports conversation involving intellectuals?

Mike still there?

or same ol' same ol' ???

I know...probably a dumb question but I had to ask.

I had it on in the background this morning for about an hour. In this time I heard: Mike & Anne arguing over whether or not Springsteen was a sellout, Mike & Anne arguing about the merits of wiretapping, Anne answering "Bears" when asked what team ranked 7th in defense , heard Mike make a lewd comment about a 12 year old girls breasts, and heard Fred say "uh-huh, yep, right, absolutely, and sure" a lot. So Mr. B, to answer your question, no.

I am utterly amazed that they are even allowed to mention Springsteens name anymore, as all it ever did was lead to an hour of worthless mumble between those two.

Oh, come on, you're not utterly transfixed by another captivating debate on the merits of Bruce Springsteen on that show? It's almost as interesting as the Republican-vs.-Democrat garbage or the rap-vs.-Oldies crap. Yeah, Mike and Annie really know how to do some amazing, original radio. I hear they're making room right now over at the Broadcast Museum for the tapes of these classic moments so they can be preserved and enjoyed by generations to come.

I used to listen to the Score alot, now hardly ever and I am not here to take a shot at Mike, but it is because of his show I don't (I am not saying, I am just saying)

But my nephew Crappy and the crap or post before it really gace some nice examples, the only thing they missed is the attempt by Mike to force the discussions that way. I don't like Anne as a Morning Radio person but I don't think she is stupid and even she seemed sick of it months, maybe years ago, not sure when I tuned in last.

It is almost as riveting as when Lawrence has his twice a year show about racism in sports and he thinks he is breaking ground with his topic.

The whole thing ca be summed up in the lack of programming on the station. I occasionally turn into Mulligan hoping o catch some Bears Information because it's the only sho that does talk about sports on the station anymore until basbeall season and Muprh does talk baseball.

Not sure how they can launch a "The other station doesn't talk sports" campaign when they have a GED wannabe in the morning attempting to enlighten the world on everything he thinks of and anything he did the day before and B&B (Who I do not mind) talking about Eh eh and Oo Ooh.

I had the MNMS on for about 30 minutes this morning and got to hear a stunningly bad dialogue on parity in the NFL.

Mike stated that parity was the same as mediocrity. Fred agreed. To back up their claim, Fred pointed to the records of the teams in the playoffs (13-3, 11-5, etc). Fred proceeded to comment on the fact that with so many good records, there must have been as many teams with bad records and this is what made parity bad for the NFL. Mike chimes in with the, "Yeah in the past teams with 8-8 records used to make the playoffs, but now thanks to parity that doesn't happen?" Huh??? I know I went to public school, but wouldn't teams with 8-8 records making the playoffs be a better example of parity? I was very confused!

But Anne made it all better when she explained how only die hard football fans were excited about the '85 Bears because they were more of a defensive team and people would rather watch offensive football. That’s right Anne, only die hard Chicago fans appreciated the Bears in '85, that's why 20 years later I can't turn around without running into some dupe who is still has a big Bear's chubby for that team.

Anyway, at that point my radio to smoke and shake and ultimately imploded, creating a small radio black hole.

I am starting to think that Jen should replace Tranny. If they are going to have the airhead blond on the air they ought to have someone who plays it all the way.

I heard a little today, and all I kept thinking was that if I was in a booth at a restaurant, next to these three, listening to this banal disscussion, I'd get up and move. Hey Mike, there's your new slogan,"Conversation that will chase you away!". At least it would be more truthful than any you have now.

Please Rock try to program the show with some entertaining bits.

This is a completely alien concept to anyone who has ever been on the Score for the morning drive show, so I doubt that Rock would even recognize one if he heard it.

You mean you didn't think me saying "Hawaiian" instead of "How are ya" back in the early days of the Score morning show was side-splittingly funny? Go figure.
