You guys peeked my interest so I tuned in at 7:00. I know it was a radio bit but what a weirdo Larry is. He announced that he's not engaged to this Ginger chick at channel 5. Ha Ha!!! Good one Larry.

I don't even know who Ginger is. I'm sure a lot of Larry's listeners don't.

He said that Ginger got an email asking if she was engaged to Larry. So Larry did this bit. It seems like the bit was just to make this Ginger girl laugh. Larry's way to try and hit on her or something. Larry said he's never even dated her. If she's hot of course he hasn't.

Then Larry said "before the rumors start I want to say I'm not dating Paula Faris either. She's happily married with a child."

Larry, Paula is a beautiful women. You are...well...Larry. A rumor to that effect would never be believed by anyone and only started by you.

There you go. This was Larry's self-indulged, self-serving, weird, stupid radio bit.

I heard a little of this on the way home, and he was saying how he's developed relationships with many people while working with NBC, and he's developed an especially "strong" relationship with Ginger Zee. He also said rumors are "all over the internet" and he needs to set the record straight.

After I read Beardown's post, I Googled "Ginger Zee" "Laurence Holmes" so it would only return results with those two names, and one link was returned...that being a link to Laurence's own blog on the 670 site.

I think this might be even more pathetic than Silverman's attempted on-air flirtation with Ginger. I actually feel kind of sorry for her, as this is the second time she's appeared on Chicago sports radio due to a social retard with a microphone talking about her on his show.

That's exactly what this was from what I gathered. It was Larry's way of trying to hit on this Ginger chick. I was embarrassed for this Ginger girl. It was quite disturbing.

I guess when he said it was all over the internet he meant that Ginger got an E mail asking if she was engaged to Larry by someone. I guess Ginger shared this with Larry thus we got this stupid bit.

People are listening to Larry and they get this shit? Larry trying to hit on a channel 5 girl? Wow. It really was pathetic.

It's always been Larry's want to make people think he gets hot women. This was his sneaky way of trying to make people think he gets women.

His Paula Faris comments were indicative of that. They just came out of no where. Right after he was finished with this bit he said "I want to stop any future rumors that I'm dating Paula Faris."

Of course nobody would ever think that but Larry likes to put that innuendo out there. Right after he said that he goes "but it's really fun hanging out with Paula."

It really is pathetic. It always amazes me that guys like Larry don't realize how pathetic this makes them look.

Me thinks Larry is nuts if anyone would believe he was nailing Ginger. Ginger is far out of his league. I mean there is outkicking your coverage and this would be Larry kicking it off the fucking Earth.

Anyway, I saw a clip of a charity function called "Dancing with Chicago Celebrities" on the WGN Morning News last week and Ginger was one of the participants. She was quite pleasing to the eye in the skimpy dress she was wearing, and her appearance/dancing elicited a few "whoa's" from the WGN News Team. She is apparently no stranger to the inside of a gym.

I really feel sorry for Ginger. It's one thing that they have to put up with weird viewer mail and shit like that. At least that is stuff only they know about.

They don't deserve to have a weirdo on the radio lusting after them. Larry is gonna tell Ginger the story of his radio bit. She will, of course, be polite and pretend she thought it was funny. That's what these pretty news women do. It's part of their job. Always act sweet an polite. Larry will believe her and think that this move will get him one step closer to dating her. Ginger - I see this weirdo once a week for 10 minutes during the football season. He's constantly telling me how wonderful I am and what a great working relationship we have. He does a stupid 10 minute segment with us. What the fuck kind of working relationship is he talking about? Now he's doing a radio bit about me. It's weird. He always seems to catch the same elevator as me at NBC towers. It's like he knows my daily pattern. I guess it's my fault for being polite to him. He probably thinks I like him.
