They are no worse then any of the other consulting companies I have worked for/with. Just much larger so there is much more exposure when things fail. I am amazed at how many former accenture/anderson guys are running businesses in Chicago.

I've been with the company for almost 12 years. I can't say I've enjoyed everyday, but overall it's a good company with good people. Alot of people get picked up by other companies when they dont want to travel anymore.

I almost interviewed with Accenture, but after reading the reviews online of working there I decided against it.

I also didn't like the fact that when I told them the salary that I was expecting they said "Well, we can't give you that, but with the overtime you'll end up working you'll probably get up to there".

I interviewed with them on a whim when I figured out I hated ChemE. As for the salaries, I've heard that before. The other point that people get caught up on is the travel. Some people think it's the best thing until you are on a project in Little Rock for 3 months and have to take connecting flights each week.

Yep, I know some of them. I work for a Fortune 500 company and some of the applications these jokers worked on are awful yet they got hired on to critical positions within the company. And now? More terrible applications are coming out and I'm stuck supporting these pet projects of these dolts. The frustrating part is hearing about the parties they throw themselves when one of these things go online, nevermind the users find them terrible and they go down almost everyday.
