You could have put defensive backs, offensive lineman, or QBs (the first two) and still have been correct.

O-linemen?

Tied for 7th in NFL for lowest sacks allowed

ranked 14 in passing yards

ranked 6th in rushing yards per attempt.

@BradBiggs: #Bears have waived TE Ben Braunecker and RB Jeremy Langford to make room for waiver claims.

So Ryan Pace's first draft was a complete bust

Kevin White
Eddie Goldman (verdict still out)
Hroniss Grasu
Jeremy Langford
Adrian Amos
Tayo Fabuluje

Goldman is legit.

Plus, he killed it in the 2016 draft.

And Amos was a good Madden player last year. 92 speed. Not a complete bust.

Not a good trait for a WR.

He probably gets a good punch off the line.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is the #2 QB, Sanchez is #3.

Butt fumble never should have been signed, he's now taking a roster spot as a 3rd string lousy qb.

It's funny hearing the coaches talk up Kevin White. Kendall Wright is by far the best WR on this roster simply because he's an actual replacement level professsional WR.

White won't make it 9 games, he looks slow and bad too.

That's fair. You get my point though. Remove "replacement level" and it's still the same.

I don't mean in your post. I mean I wish to never hear that term again.

And he'll be #1 on the depth chart when Kevin White gets hurt again by week 3.

How can a team so devoid of WR talent afford to carry both Bellamy and Thompson? The special teams will be meaningless if you can't move the ball.

I think you'll find your declaration that Meredith's production is replaceable not all that accurate. Kendall Wright will do what he can, but there's not one other guy on the roster to help him out.

I realize we did this already but old Cam had 66 catches for about 800 yards. I would guess one of these goofs can do it.

Hopefully the Bears are bad enough in 2017 so they can give Mitch Trubiski a shiny new toy(Calvin Ridley) for 2018.

Those will probably be similar numbers to what Wright does this year but I'm moreso talking the consistency he was showing towards the end of the season and projected on to this season. I think it's safe to say Meredith wasn't going to go three games in a row with only 2 targets a game again this year.

No, but anytime an offense loses its number 1 WR, they lose him plus everyone else on the offense gets a little bit worse. Look at GB when Jordy was gone the year before last.

Thompson looked pretty decent at times and, really, who knows. This time last year nobody would've guessed Cam Meredith would've been considered a major part of this offense.

I'll remember next year to compare a returning Cam Meredith to Jordy Nelson, see how you take it.
