Feel bad for him, hopefully he's been careful with his funds and gotten good advice that he's followed there. I don't think he's long for the football world.


That said, he showed nothing even when healthy. I think assigning 'bust' to this pick is appropriate. Funny how Goff doesn't seem to grasp that there are more than a couple ways to bust as a player. Injury is absolutely one of those ways. Sad.

Floyd didn't show any progress from last season at all in today's game -but I'm not ready to take it to bust status yet with him. Unlike White, Floyd has at least flashed. I say give this some more time.


Where the hell was our 2nd round pick in this game tho? Shaheen needs to pan out. Pace needs to hit on way more picks than he has now in 3 years. Cohen, Howard and Whitehair are nice. But that can't be it. You can't get into your 1st game of the season and not have one of your 1st two picks out there ready to play. There's been too much of that from Paces drafts.

Goff is all things bad but I cannot call White a bust. The little time he had to prove anything was already under the cloud of a serious injury, and then he got injured again. He had been making tiny strides to the point you felt he would have a breakout game, and then the next injury happened. And now this. If he is a bust it's because of awful luck, and possibly even bad genes.

That said, I never thought highly of the pick. Lord knows you dont need a terribly smart person to play the game but he struck me as a kind of stupid person, and that always worries me when I have nothing else to go on.

kevin white has shown nothing to indicate he can live up to his #7 draft pick billing... he isn't a precise route runner, he thus far, has not been able to demonstrate the ability to separate or use speed to get open.. and he has shown zero ability to be a go up and get it type and win contested battles for receptions (he was supoosedly this in college).

I agree for most part. We will never know what could of been if he hadn't hurt his leg way back when though. Don't think he would been much but who knows. The game is brutal and history is littered with guys who flamed out for injury or for lack of talent. He might be both.

Being a bust in this situation is more a matter of not performing to the standard in which the draft position infers. Regardless of why one doesn't meet that expectation. In 2 years and into a 3rd, White won't even come close to living up to the potential assigned a top 10 1st round pick.


That can't even be argued against. It's a fact. Unless this recent injury turns out to be nothing and he's back on the field within a reasonable amount of time.


By that measure, he is a busted pick. Both literally and figuratively, actually.
