Looks like it's Kwiatkoski time.

Kwiatkowski made some plays last year. Big hitter. In fact, he had another big hit on Sunday. I expect him to fill in well with Trevathan as the lead ILB.

Well, it's a good thing GM Ryan Pace has used the last 3 drafts to stock the Bears full of talented players ready to step up..

Which week will the PUP/IR lists have more talent on it than the active roster?

2016 is the best Bears draft class in a very, very long time. Floyd, Whitehair, Kwiatkowski and Howard all starting now. Bullard will be very soon (if not next week). Howard and Whitehair are among the best at their positions, Floyd has the obvious potential to join them. You cannot have complains about that draft right now, it has been outstanding so far.

Very depressing to continue losing their best players at this clip to severe injuries. I doubt they are training or preparing any differently than any other NFL team, but this can't continue at this clip. Freeman was a stud, they will miss him.

I don't think I'm stretching to say Kwiatkowski will be fine.

A PED's suspension last year and now a torn Pectoral. I think we finally know why Freeman "suddenly" became one of the best middle linebackers in the NFL.

You are.

He still is thinking, more than reacting when playing LB. Hopefully that ends soon but it was evident again on Sunday.

There will be growing pains, no question. But this year is meaningless, so whatever.

Is this a string of bad luck or is the training staff a huge pile of shit? I suppose this isn't an either/or...

First time I've heard of someone tearing their pectoral muscle, and the Bears now have two of them.

They should also just IR Kyle Long, or outright cut him. I always thought Bears drafted him with the hope it would get them some favorable press with his dad, and now it feels like they can't get rid of him. I can't see him being productive this year, or maybe ever again.

Why PED abuse? Why does it affect the pec muscle more than any other muscle?

Bulls and the Bears might be a good race for worst training staffs in sports.

This has been the Bears mantra since Trestman took over from Lovie. It's always, "Wait until next year when more pieces are in place."

And yet, with the current group, there's been no accountability. Virginia's still pissed off, but nothing to see here. Move along.

There were some real doozies under Trestman, but this last game was about as uncompetitive a game as I've ever seen. The Bears are a laughingstock.

Demps hasn't played well this year. I wonder if Amos will be better.

I also wonder if they wouldn't be better off moving Fuller to safety and letting Cooper and Amakamura handle CB.

I like his coverage so far this year, but his willingness to hit people in the open field makes him a poor choice for safety I think.

If he keeps covering like he has been, he will be hitting a major pay day in FA next spring.

He knocked Jesse James the f out OKC style this weekend.

I agree with you. I don't think he is a great tackler. I'm not sure that's the primary assignment for a safety these days.

My bad, I forgot that was him.

He missed Hooper in the Falcons game and Bell hurdled him Sunday.
