With the beloved going nowhere fast, & getting rid of the best coach available is this the guy you would hire?

I hadn't thought about him but he might be what they need. They don't need Jim Boylan after this year.

Didn't they just fire him? Oh wait that was Scott Skiles. Pax has already tried putting together a team full of little Pax's and hired a coach just like hinself...

So I don't think Mr. Rick C would be a good fit, since he is pretty much the same style coach as Skiles/Pax.

Well at least I hope they don't hire him.

that's the problem we need more than a couple of years & they want have the right players. most likely they will be stuck in a mediocre position for the next couple of years

i sorta forgot that. it still pisses me off that 5 years ago scott skiles and john paxson told me theyed be competing within the next five years, and it seems in that five years the entire team has exploded and scott skiles is no where to be found.

To me, Rick Carlisle is the most qualified of the possible Bulls' head coaches for 2 reasons. He preaches defense, and has winning records with both the Detroit Pistons, whom GM John Paxson tried to model his Bulls team after, and the Indiana Pacers before the infamous "Brawl at the Palace". If not Carlisle, Norm Van Lier lacks coaching experience, but if you watched "Bulls Pre/Postgame Live" this past season, there were times where Norm wanted to smack the overdressed Mark Schanowski & Kendall Gill on the Comcast SportsNet set. Norm would light a defensive fire under this sorry team. If those don't work, Paxson should try to coach these bums himself. Would he be as successful as fellow head coach and General Manager Gregg Popovich in San Antonio? Popovich has NBA Championship rings on his fingers, just like Pax as a player...
