It was pretty good. Don't know if it should cost more than turkey but I'd get it again.

From where Dr?

Nothing like harmony for 12 bucks

Yesterday's harmony cost $35, but the remaining at home vacuum son at least got a second steak dinner tonight as a no cook dinner tonight.

3 lb sirloin roast & potatoes.

Oddly enough my youngest had a game and wanted this over pizza.

Thankfully, because this means he'll eat this again at 1am and won't make a mess in the kitchen

Did the same tonight. It is true for almost anything, but especially with pork tenderloin, the flavor develops so much more with grilling as opposed to baking. Find yourself a beer, a fifteen minute youtube video you've wanted to watch for a while, and a couple of pork tenderloins and you can make dinner fantastic.

I ended up cooking it tonight. I made a marinade this morning. Wife made a kale salad and some broccoli soup. Glorious.

Pork tenderloin is an affordable, yet high quality cut of meat. Underrated.

Agree on pork tenderloin. I probably grill at least one of these a month, even during the winter. Its a perfect meal for just us two, or if you have two little ones like CHUSE who likely won't eat a very big portion.

Despite being pre-made patties and slightly overcooked, the burgers tasted pretty good. I was slightly drunk by the time I got the grill going.

The turkey breast turned out amazingly well. I also diced some potatoes with butter, garlic, chives, and a few other spices, wrapped them in foil and put them on the grill. Topped them with cheese that melted while the turkey rested. Good stuff.

Marinated some flank steaks with the Weber Carne Asada powder you mix with lime juice -- it had a lot more kick than I would have expected off a grocery store shelf. Not bad.

Also took some sweet potatoes and peeled them, then cut them in finger sized wedges. Toss in some oil and then put them on direct heat for about three minutes per a couple sides each to get a little bit of char and smoke. Took them and spread them on a baking sheet and then baked them for about 15 minutes at 350 so they were cooked through. Made a lime vinagrette with some salt and pepper and brushed it on before serving -- those things were pretty, pretty good. Never tried grilling sweet potatoes before, but it was a good mix of sweet, smoky, salty, sour... all the S's were there.

Smoking some baby back ribs in the electric smoker for about 4 hours and some potatoes as well. Maybe have a beer or two to drown my sorrows.

$4 box of pulled barbq chicken and a 2ft long take n bake French loaf from Aldi.

I microwaved the chicken (the box said it recommends this) and toasted the bread in the oven

It's pretty good

Is there a "what's for dinner?" thread? This seems sort of like a catch-all.

5lb rib roast and potatoes with shallots, rosemary and beef fat trimmed from the roast. And Knob Creek a great friend gave me.

But between my sons and the Rottweiler puppy, I probably won't get any

Did you actually grill the roast? I've never done that before.

I used the reverse sear method to cook my Christmas rib roast. It turned out awesome.
