The Bear have held two teams of equal or superior offensive ability to an average of 20 points.

As I wrote in another game thread, this is a game of first to 21 wins.

Tampa Bay getting lots of undeserved love. Green Bay is significantly better offensively. Every year they have some hiccups before turning it on and the injuries to the OTs don't help, but Tampa Bay can't compare to them offensively.

Falcons and Steelers

I thought that was obvious from my average of the score of the two games

Aaron Rodgers won't light the Bears up tomorrow. I'll consider that a moral victory. If the Packers run up the score it'll be because of Glennon turning the ball over or Cooper fumbling the ball at the two yard line while break dancing.

He won't light them up but he will probably lead them on a late scoring drive to win the game.

I missed that part but that is wrong too. It would be correct if the Steelers played 16 home games this year though

Alone in what thought? If you think the Steelers have the same offense as Green Bay this year I don't think you'll find a lot of company.

You're right. The Steelers have a better offense. Best WR in the NFL and arguably the best RB.

And as of today, certainly a better offensive line.

Howard's health concerns me but I'm taking the Bears 24-20.

man, there's a lot of Bears love in here for no discernible reason. I see this one being over by halftime.

Green Bay is down to the SIXTH offensive tackle this season. Their best defensive player has his arm in a cast and likely can't play tonite. The Packers are literally plucking guys off the street to block in front of Rodgers tonite. The Bears defense has played very well overall this season. Green Bay has given up an average of 5 yards on first down, which plays right into the strength of the Bears-- their running game.

I do not expect the Bears to win, but to suggest that there is no reason for optimism in playing a banged up Packers team on a short week is a terrible thought. It's probably not going to be a blowout one way or another.

That's true but then the Packers are better everywhere else. Also, the Packers have the 2nd best QB in the game and Ben is no longer a top 16 QB. That alone pretty much cancels out AB and Bell.

GB will finish with more points scored than Pitt this year.

I get what you're saying, but it's Rodgers versus Glennon and surely the DC watched the Bears enough to stack 9 in the box. Over by half, imo.

The Bears typically play Rodgers well, and they have stacked up well against two of the best offenses in the NFL. They should be able to get a good pash rush tonight, too. This will be low-scoring, and the Bears have a shot. Rodgers will likely win it at the end but will have pedestrian numbers overall.

Bell and Brown are light years ahead of any WR/RB the Packers have. Steelers much more potent offense.

All you guys who keep repeating this nonsense need to go back the last few years and look at the Steelers home/road splits as well as how much Ben has regressed.

AB is better than Nelson. He isn't light years ahead of him.

GB will finish with more points scored than Pitt. Pitt won't finish in the top 5.
