Rock can you answer if Pappy had to pay for the ads on the station. Was it full price?

Good call

As painful as the ads were to listen to for those of us who tune in to the Score during the day to try and get the latest sports news, they served a purpose. They revealed to the world that Mike North is, despite his supporters' claims to the contrary, obsessed with race. How else do you explain that not one, but both, of the "featured" cuts on this piece o'feces CD of his deal with race? This whole CD thing also revealed that his sense of humor is lame and that he's a self-absorbed a-hole. If just one more person out there came to realize this through the release of this crappy, asinine CD, then maybe it accomplished something. May the day soon come when the Score morning air can be devoted to at least an ATTEMPT to talk some intelligent sports and not simply to soothe the ego or justify the paycheck of one of the most obnoxious radio personalities in Chicago broadcast history.

What don't ya'll understand about my previous posts?

I only produced the cd, I have absolutely nothing to do with the sale and/or promotion of this disc.

Why would I want to know about sales figures or ad space on the station and other stations for the cd?

I don't know the sales figures of the disc....nor do I know how much of a donation is made to PAWS on the sale of each disc.

This is strictly Mike's operation and promotion, I simply just put the disc together for him.

What don't ya'll understand?

If you got questions on the disc or anything dealing with the sale of the disc or whatever, why not ask him? The phones are always open, e-mail works as far as I know (mike@northtonorth.com).

And the point is not that it's none of your business....but it's none of my business, it's his thing....my name is just on the credits.

How about if Bigfan starts collecting some money to see if this site can beat the Caucasian Man CD at raising money for PAWS?
It probably would not take much.

No, i don't get any royalties from the sale of the disc.

and Dr. John, if you're gonna start calling me names, at least you could spell it right.

Phil Vaughn is associated w/Nation Records, the ones who put out the disc.

I hope the disc sells well, but quite frankly the number sold doesn't mean anything to me.

Always insulting the intelligence of the common man.

This damn CD has been in the works for 6 months. Your station dedicates over a month promoting it.

Then once its over Rock says that its a pappy thing. He has no interest in the sales. Who you crapping. Its very simple. If the CD was selling well both you and Pappy would be telling anyone who would listen. Pappy on the air and Rock on this board

Rock is just like the kid character in Bad Santa. Both physically and with their personality. Rocko worships the ground that Pappy walks on. No matter what Pappy does he will always be Rocks beloved Pappy Clause.

Pappy: Wipe your nose Rock and get me a cup of coffee. Draw be a bath.

Rock: I love you Pappy.

Pappy: Dats exactly right

Rock: Uhhh, so Mike, the folks at the Chicago Sports Fan Board are begging me to ask you how the, you know, sales of the, ummm, absolutely fabulous Caucasian Man CD are going.

Mike: Well, Rock, I'll tell ya, dere not really goin' dat good. Dere's no question about it. I expected more. Dat being said, we all know da sales figures are flawed.

Fred: Yep.

Mike: You know dere's got to be a ton of bootleg copies out dere dat aren't reflected in dose figures.

Fred: Yep.

Mike: Also, anudder reason da numbers are bad is dat ya know black people aren't buyin' dem. If a white guy doesn't buy a black guy's CD, he's a racist, but when blacks don't buy my CD, dat's OK. I tell ya, life's not fair.

Fred: That's right.

Mike: Damn right dat's right. Dere's no question. After da show I'm goin' over to Gibson's and drown my sorrows becuz I live in a world where blacks and minorities get all da breaks and I have to get by on a lousy $1.7 mil a year for doin' dis great radio show dat brings so much joy to da people of Chicahgo. An' Rock, while I'm at it, I might add dat maybe if some of da production work dat you did on dis CD was just a little bit better, I'd have sold more. I'm not takin' da fall for dis alone, ya know.

Fred: Right again, Mike...

Mike, Rock, and Annie: OH, SHUT UP, FRED!!!!!!

I would like to take credit for spawning the "Mike's life" sitcom dialogue. That was an hilarious post. I think if Rock would be honest, he would even admit that he has laughed at some of our satire.

Rock, I'm not joking. Some of this Pappy Sitcom stuff that we have produced is ten times more hilarious then any of the bits that you have created on the mourning show.

Oh right Rock, we are not in the radio business so we don't know whats entertaining.

Here is an honest to god suggestion for the show Rock. Have Pappy parody himself with the lines that myself and others have created. I swear to god people will love it.

Leave ROCK alone. at least he writes here under his own name. of course he's going to be the company mouth-piece - other wise he'd be out of work like Gary Meyer! ( I got that from Dahl today - ya know - when i wasn't listening to the Snore))

Rock: So, Chief, feeling a little better today after a few at Gibson's last night?

Mike: Oh, no question. Fritzy stopped by an' he told me not to worry about da CD sales figures. He sez da music bizness and da accountin' bizness is filled with a bunch of flim-flam men who probably gave out phony numbers so dey could cheat me an' PAWS out of money an' keep more for demselfs.

Rock: You mean a bunch of Je . . .

Mike: Hey!!! I ain't sayin', I'm just sayin'!!!

Rock: Yeah, I'm sorry. I should have never even brought up the sales figures with you yesterday. Those douchebags on the Sports Fan Board pressured me into it.

Mike: Yeah, I'd like to see dem morons try to put togedder a quality show like we do every day. I go from sharin' my incredible sports insight to discussin' world affairs wit a Senator Dick Durbin to arguin' wit Annie if rap is better den doo-wop. Sometimes I amaze myself at how I do it! I know a lot about everyting, I guess.

Rock: Dat's--I mean That's--what I keep telling those guys on the board who hate you! You know I'm dere--I mean there--for you. (Whispering to himself: Damn it, I'm starting to talk like him.)

Mike: Tanks, Rock. I'm beat. Dat being said, I'm goin' home, puttin' on my Zubaz and watchin' Da Swirsk call a Toronto Raptors game or sometin'.

Fred: I hand-cleaned the giadiniera stains--at least that's what I think they were--out of your Bears Zubaz like you asked me to and they're hanging next to your coat. Now, if there's anything else you . . .

Mike: Shut up, Fred.

Dat's..er, That's some funny shit. I laughed more reading that post, than from any of Pappy's "comedy" bits the last year and a half. You should apply for that Rover joke writer position. Lord knows he could use the material.

1. Thanks. But I must say, he's an easy target.

2. On the outside chance that anyone's confused, the music style I referred to (doo-something) has a second syallable that can be construed as an offensive term for Italians, so the Board substituted 'Nut' for it.

3. And yes, belated acknowledgement to "Larry David" for popularizing the Mikey sitcom-dialog postings.

The great thing about these parodys on this board is it probrally is not very far off to the actual conversations that pappy has in his life. Thats what makes it so hilarious while reading. Pappy really does have these conversations.

I wish Pappy would realize that most of Chicago is laughing at him and not with him.

I love the parodies too. I think Mitch Rosey Palm should consider Larry David and Pappy's Crappy for the morning show. Hell I'd listen.

Make it happen Bitch......I mean Mitch!

These parodies are hilarious (when done right).

would be a great board at this site!

ROCK, we're selling our used copy on Amazon, and you're not listed as the producer. It says PRODUCED BY MIKE NORTH BEBE NORTH PHILIP VAUGHAN. For you rock it says preproduction along with your buddy kessler.

This is far more entertaining than the real North show, but then again Mike provides no entertainment at all.

Ever see the "Married With Children" where Peg starts selling cosmetics from home? Soon, she's making more money than Al at the shoe store. Then, he discovers she's been buying tons of her own stuff. Just call him Mike "Peg Bundy" North.
